Chapter 9

Nick has been hot onstage again and for the third concert in a row I still haven't been able to look at anyone else.  They way he moves was a killer, I haven't had sex in three months, since Mitch and watching Nick definitely made me want to experience what I had been missing.  Just as my thoughts stop becoming sexual I snap back to see him on his back, his hands just above his groin as if he was holding the hips of some imginary girl on top of him and I bite my lip as he begins to grind.  It was quick and subtle, but it was there and I shake my head and close my eyes.  The kid is kind of a freak, has to be. I can't help but think about what his little girl of the moment said when she was talking to her friend in the lobby about how good he was.  It's a good thing he's not interested.

"Yes, can I get another towel please?  Thank you."  How I managed to go through all my towels that night I don't know.  I do know, I dropped two of them in the shower and one of them was going to be for my hair.  I prop my door open slightly and wait for the bellhop.  Sitting on the bed, the phone to my room rings,
"Hello?"  I smile as I hear her voice,
"Cilla, how are you?  Come home."  I laugh,
"Sure I'm on my way."  Talking to Tish all the time made me a little less homesick.  I haven't talked to my parents since my first day in Florida, but they knew not to expect daily phone calls, I love my parents but we aren't the Cleavers,
"So any tales from the road?"  Nothing exciting yet besides my rising curiosity in Nick's bedroom skills,
"Remember I was telling you about the guys?  Remember Nick?"  Tish made a little noise as she tried to remember,
"Uh the sex God right?"  I shake my head, if she ever met him she'd probably call him that.  I'm regretting telling her about that girl,
"Yeah that one.  I've been thinking about him alot.  You should see him on stage, it's like pure sex.  And I didn't know, but he wears glasses.  He had some on last night, he was to die for Tish."  Tish was going to try and talk me into walking into his room and climbing in his bed naked or something,
"Has he made a move?"  Priscilla shook her head, "No he hasn't made a move."  He was so far from making a move it wasn't funny,
"If he did what would you do?" I shook my head,
"I don't know what I would do if he made a move.  It doesn't matter though he's too shy and I don't like going after the guy.  I want someone who is aggressive and confident.  Someone who isn't going to put up with my shit and let me run over them." Tish laughed,
"So you want someone who takes control?"  I nodded and giggled,
            "Exactly, total control."
"So, is there more to this kid besides being a sex god?"  I roll my eyes,
"Actually, he has this knack for kidding on the square when he's in a bad mood it's funny as hell.  He can be a real smartass and you don't know if he's doing it on purpose or if he truly doesn't realize it."  Tish made a little groan sound,
"Are you starting to like him?"  I shake my head, no way am I falling for a child.  I may be curious about what he's like sexually but that's as far as my thoughts have wandered,
"Are you kidding.  Give me a break.  You know I like older men."  I hear a knock on the door and turn to see the bellhop, I wave him in and he places the towels on the chair.  I stand and go over to my bag pulling out a five dollar bill,
"Thanks."  I hope he's not disappointed, I'm not a Backstreet Boy I just work for them.  I follow behind him and close the door,
"Tish I'm gonna get off the phone and take a shower."
"Ok, what are your plans for tomorrow?"
"For whatever reason we didn't leave tonight and we have a show in Tampa tomorrow.  I think we're just going to go straight to the venue from the hotel here, do the show and then hit the road for Atlanta afterwards."  We said our goodbyes and I made my way to the shower.

Sitting at my table, eating my breakfast I smile as I watch Kevin, Howie and Nick walk into the dining room, with Kevin and Nick playing,
"It doesn't bother Nick Howie.  He doesn't know what it means anyway."  Nick looked over at Kevin and Kevin raised his hands,
            "I'm kidding baby."  Nick laughed,
"Kidding or kidding on the square Kevin?"  Kevin frown and my own face matched his as he spoke,
"What?"  I smile as I lean over and join in on their conversation,
"Kidding on the sqaure means you're kidding but you're kind of serious too."  Kevin looked over at Nick and seemed to be just as surprised as I was that he knew what that meant.
I looked over at Nick and smiled, a little shock when not only did he not look away but he winked before walking off.  Pete sitting before me interrupted my Nick-induced trance,
"Hey did Nick come by your room last night?"  I frown,
"No, why would he do that?"  He shook his head,
"He called me looking for that cheat sheet for the interview with Entertainment Weekly they'll be doing in Atlanta.  I told him you had it and to go over to your room.  He said ok, but I kinda doubted he would go to your room."  I shook my head,
"Nope, he didn't come by.  I'll give it to him when we get to Tampa."  I looked over to see Nick looking at me as he drank from his bottle of water.  I swallowed hard as he simply kept looking at me until I finally broke eye contact.
