| Chapter 98 They made their way into the hotel lobby, it was only eleven that night but they were all exhausted, "Ok, Brian and AJ we need to leave for the radio station around seven thirty, you go on around eight fifteen." He was happy he didn't have to get up that next morning and promote the in-store appearance, he was still exhausted from his night out with Rachel. He took his key and headed up to his room, he wasn't even sure where his luggage was. He had just flopped down in the bed when there was a knock on the door and groaned as he made his way over to see Tim holding his luggage, "Thanks." Tim smiled and turned to walk away, "Hey man, do I have to do anything tomorrow besides the in-store?" Tim faced him as he shook his head, "Where is your schedule?" He rolled his eyes, "I don't know." Tim shook his head and smiled, "You and Howie are going to tape something at a TV station, your signing is at five, then you leave for the airport right after and head for Atlanta." He nodded his head, "Don't worry about wake up, I'll wake you up when you need to get up." He smiled, "Thanks man." He closed the door and stripped down to his boxers and collapsed in the bed, asleep before he ever got comfortable. AJ and Brian were settled in their seats, ready for the interview to start up again after the commercial break, "OK, we're back with two-fifths of the Backstreet Boys...Brian and AJ. Now, I don't want to make you guys feel bad but if you've noticed Dana over here has been a little down since you've been here." AJ looked over at her, "Why is that?" Johnny looked over at Dana quickly amd smiled before looking back at the guys, "Well nothing against you guys but she has a major crush on one of the other Backstreet Boys." Brain nodded, "Who? Nick?" Johnny laughed, "Brian you seemed a little irritated by that. You're not jealous are you?" The other DJs and the producer cat called and ooohed and ahhed as Brian shook his head, "No, no...I leave that life for Nick. I'm happily married." AJ laughed, "So, it's Nick huh? It's always Nick." Mark, the third of the morning trio piped in, "You guys are hatin on Nick huh? He gets too much attention?" Dana laughed, "Wait, wait, wait. I like all the Backsstreet Boys but...I DO have it bad for Nick." AJ shook his head and smiled, "Bad huh?" She nodded, "Yeah, it's pretty bad. I just love him, he's so cute. They get mad at me I always talk about him." Johnny cut in, "Yeah, it's a good thing Nick didn't show up, he'd have to leave here and go straight to the police station and file a restraining order." They laughed, "You think she's Nick's type?" AJ looked over at her, she was really thin with shoulder length blonde hair, "Yeah, I mean, Nick doesn't really have a type actually. He likes them all blondes, brunettes." Mark laughed, "I have an idea." No way, no way is the phone ringing. What time is it? He looked over and groaned, it's eight forty-five, he didn't have to get up that early, Tim would have told him. Just as he made his arm move the phone stopped ringing. He rolled over and just as he was about to drift off again the sound of the phone broke the silence in the room. He struggled to pick up the phone and groaned, "Hello?" AJ's voice came through the phone in between squeals and cheers, "Hey buddy, what's up? Did we wake you up?" He cleared his throat, "Hell yeah you woke me up." AJ laughed, "You're on the radio. Say hello to everyone in Boston." He ran his hand over his face, "Hello Boston." He sat up and stretched, feeling the blood circulate through his body, "This is Johnny, now one our DJs, Dana, has a huge crush on you and she would love to hang out with you. Is that cool?" He shook his head and swung his feet onto the floor, "Well, we're busy. We're only here for a few hours then we leave for..um Atlanta." He could hear the groans and moans then he could hear a female voice come through the phone, "So Nick, that means we can't hang out?" He stood up and walked towards the bathroom when he heard AJ, "She's really cute man. You can come to our in-store tonight and meet Nick." Mark groaned, "Oh I don't know. She's never met him and she's ga-ga...if she ever met him that's it. She'll be planning the wedding." Brian's voice came through the phone, "You've never met him?" God, he had to use the bathroom, he hoped they would hurry up, "Nope, actually this is my first time. You're the first Backstreet Boys I've met. I just moved here from New Mexico." He wanted to get off the phone, "I'll tell you what come down to the in-store and we can hang out then or something." He could hear cheering and what sounded like clapping, "Really? You don't have to Nick." He leaned against the door, "Nah, it's cool." "Ok Nick we're gonna let you go back to sleep. Dana will see you tonight." They said their good byes and he stumbled into the bathroom. They were sitting in the backroom of the store when Tim walked over to him with a cute blonde close behind him, "Hey Nick, this is Dana. The DJ from the radio station." He stood up and smiled as he gave her a hug, "Hi." She smiled in return as he noticed she didn't make eye contact with him for long, "Hi, thanks for-" He shrugged his shoulders and shook his head, "It's cool." Once they went out for the autograph session she pulled up a chair and sat by him behind the table. As he signed autographs she interviewed him, might as well get another Backstreet interview out of it. He leaned over and whispered in her ear, "So...you gonna give me your number?"
