They were eating lunch at the mall when he looked over at Craig,
�You kind of quiet�what�s up?� He watched as Craig sighed and sat back,
�Nothing really. So, um, have you talked to Shayna?� Nick laughed and shook his head,
�Its worse than before.� Craig frowned and shook his head as he poured ketchup on his fries,
�What�what do you mean?� Nick reached over at took a French fry from his plate,
�We talked AFTER we slept together.� He laughed at the expression on Craig�s face,
�Yeah, I know man. We talked and its still there but its crazy. She�s with him and I�m supposed to be with Lexi now�I don�t know how I got into that.� Craig rolled his eyes,
�You�re supposed to be figuring out Shayna. Not only have you not done that but you�ve made it harder by getting involved with Lexi. Sometimes�I tell you.� Nick sighed,
�I know, I know. Look, I love her but I can�t sit around waiting for her.� Craig sighed,
�So, stop messing with her.� Nick put his drink down and stared at Craig,
�It�s not that easy and what�s wrong with you?� Craig raised his hands and shook his head,
�Nothing, just leave me out of this. I don�t want to hear about it anymore, I�m sorry I asked.� Nick reached over to grab another French fry and frowned when Craig pulled them away,
�What�s your problem?� Craig ate another bite of his burger before looking up at him,
�If you want fries go get some.� Nick�s eyes widened,
�I always eat your fries.�
�And it always annoys me.� Nick sat back and looked around the mall,
�Okaaay.� Maybe Craig was just in a bad mood, everyone was entitled and he sure had more than he should be allowed. They ate the rest of their lunch in silence.
Nick grabbed Craig�s arm as he was getting out of his truck,
�Hey man, are you mad at me?� Craig looked over his shoulder,
�No man, I�m just in a crazy mood. We�re cool.� They smiled and slapped hands and Nick watched as he walked away. As he drove back home he thought of Lexi and pulled out his cell phone. He listened as the phone rang hoping she was there,
�Hello?� He could hear her breathing hard,
�Are you busy?� She took a deep breath and laughed a little,
�No, no its ok. I was just working out you gave me a reason to stop, I was dying.� He smiled as he thought about her body,
�Hmmm, I would love to see that.� She giggled and let out a sigh,
�You�re bad. So how are you baby? I can�t wait to see you again.� He smiled at her excitement. It felt so good for someone to be happy to see him; it made him feel special,
�I�ll be there in a couple of weeks�recording. Make sure you�re ready for me.� She moaned,
�What do I need to be ready for?� He lowered his voice,
�Me baby.� She moaned a little louder this time and he knew he had gotten to her,
�I may have to get on a plane now. I don�t think I can wait two weeks.� He pulled up to a stoplight,
�What are you doing until you get here?� He closed his eyes as he thought about their schedule,
�Right now we�re recording here in Florida but we�re going to New York before we get to LA.� He could hear her take a deep breath still recovering from her workout,
�You should stay with me while you�re here instead of getting a hotel room.� That was a good idea,
�Ok, works for me. Try and get a day off so we can stay in bed all day.� She laughed,
�Your mind is in the gutter today what�s with you? I haven�t been gone that long.� He made his turn as he thought about Shayna. It hadn�t been as long as she thought since he was with someone,
�Just missing you baby. I�m driving so I better get off the phone. I got some stuff to do, I�ll call you tonight.� He didn�t know what he was doing with Lexi. It really wasn�t fair to her because he knew if he could be with Shayna he would.
