He knew he was a little rude on the phone but it just wasn�t a good time and even though they were no longer together he didn�t want to hurt her. He looked over and smiled as Lexi held up two tops,
�So, which one?� He tossed the phone on the bed and walked over and grabbed her in his arms,
�I say we just stay in tonight.� He leaned down and kissed her as one of his hands moved down and grabbed her breast. Her mouth opened and his tongue slipped inside. Her mouth was so warm and there wasn�t a night that she ever disappointed, he thought. She moaned and pulled her head back with her eyes still closed and breathed,
�No way big boy. We�re going to the movies.� He groaned and stuck his bottom lip out,
�If you REALLY want to.� She laughed,
�Yes, I really want to so quit your pouting, now which one?� He sighed,
�The red one.� She nodded and threw the red one on the bed and put on the black top. He frowned,
�Hey, I said the red one.� She laughed,
�I know.� He shook his head and flopped on the couch waiting for her to go put on her makeup,
�No respect.�
They were walking back to the car after the movie and he locked eyes with two young girls. He smiled and nodded and they began to giggle. If he wasn�t sure before, he was sure now that they knew who he was. They began to walk towards him and Lexi and he took a hold of Lexi�s arm so she knew he was stopping.
�Hi Nick, can we have your autograph?� He smiled and looked in their hands,
�Sure you got something for me to sign?� The second girl looked embarrassed,
�Yeah, my car is right here. I�ll go get a pen and paper.� He nodded and watched as she ran off. His attention turned back to her friend who was busy giving Lexi the once over. Lexi hadn�t noticed because she was standing off to the side people watching, totally oblivious to what was going on. She probably noticed this girl wasn�t Shayna. Great, he wasn�t in the mood for anything fan related to be honest. He had spent the whole two weeks in LA, and was hardly noticed, thanks to working and not going to obvious places. The other girl returned and he sighed their pieces of paper. As he was handing them back, the girl who was watching Lexi spoke up,
�Nick, where�s Shayna?� He wanted to slap her. She was either just plain nosey or she was trying to bother Lexi,
�She�s back home. Well, we have to go.� They both asked for hugs and he and Lexi walked off. They were in the car and he watched her drive, she was pretty quiet. He didn�t know if Lexi knew about Shayna. If she did, she would think that he and Shayna were still a couple because no one knew he and Shayna broke up. And if she did know, she couldn�t very well be upset; she approached him that night they met. However, there was the chance that she didn�t know about Shayna and was feeling bad,
�Lexi.� She kept her eyes on the road,
�Hmmm?� He sighed,
�Shayna was my girlfriend, we broke up a couple of weeks before I came out here, no one knows, that�s why they asked about her.� She nodded her head,
�Ok.� He shook his head, he hated that, Shayna did that shit and pissed him off. She didn�t believe him but she didn�t want to say anything about it, she would just keep thinking he was an asshole.
�Lexi, come on.� She pulled up to the red light and looked over at him,
�Nick, you don�t owe me any explanations one way or the other. It was just a thing and now its about to be over.� He sighed,
�I didn�t make any promises but I do like you Lexi. I�d like to keep in touch. I mean, I just broke up with her, the last thing I�m thinking about is a relationship.� She nodded her head,
�I understand that Nick, really I do. No expectations, that�s how I went into this, I�m ok.� She smiled and leaned over and pecked him on the lips.
