Chapter 27 contd

She sat down at a table with her panini and a bottle of Fiji water at Pizzeria Paradiso.  Her phone rang again and she noticed for the first time that she had a message.  Not only did she not want to be badgered again, she didnt want to hear any message they had decided to leave.  Shayna turned the phone off and threw it in the bottom of her bag.  She pulled one of the journals out of her bag.  The appropriate color for detailing her pain was the black cloth covered journal.  Her feelings were really dark at that moment.  She ordered a glass of wine and sipped as she continued to write.  She didnt even know she had anything to say.
She wrote:

February 2                         Broken Promise
He promised me it was going to be perfect.  He promised me nothing would happen.  Promise broken.

She sipped her wine and looked around.  She was the only one who was alone and she was the only one who wasnt smiling.
