I have a small collection of Goss crested china featuring the Coats of Arms of the towns and important people of Somerset.
These china pieces were made between the 1880's and 1930's and were often purchased as holiday souveniers or cheap gifts.  I have 51 different coats of arms at this time on china made by Goss.
We are members of West Somerset Railway..
Up until recently I have been using a 1950's camera but aquired a digital camera in 2002 which I have now updated..
Here are some general photos taken in recent years.
Our  Mirror class sailing dingy has been sold and I do not intend to replace it.  Prefer to hire and sail in warmer climates. Here I am seen on a sailing course at Cheddar reservoir in an Enterprise Dingy.
We used an old incubator last Spring and enjoyed hatching some duck eggs.  The ducks  now reside as pets on a smallholding.
I enjoy the occassional trip to London but now mis  seeing the old Routemaster buses. They came into service in 1956 and the last was built in 1968.  Nearly 1000 vehicles survive but only a few are seen in London now and they are on tourist routes.    Interesting website can be found
www.routemaster.org.uk .  Below a picture taken in Oxford Street sometime back..
I like attending vehicle rallies.  I am seen admiring a 1930's Jowett with a model.  Also a 1930's MG which was once been owned by Reg Dixon.  Must be a story there as he bought it when it was 12 years old.
Whilst in Wales we came across these Austin's out on a mountain run.  In London came across a Morris Minor van, probably 1960's, still in use by a plumber.
