The Leg Mystery

Funny thing about GH. He doesn't move his legs when he walks.

What was first thought to be a puzzling medical situation, turned out to be an elaborate prank.
The Mutant Enemy logo features Gordon walking across the screen without moving his feet, but as opposed to public opinion, Gordon does move his.

"I move my feet all the time! My feet couldn't be more movable." says Gordon.

So how do we explain this mysterious walk? simple. Gordon's walk was a vicious spontaneous prank concocted by him & Joss.

Gordon: "It didn't start as a prank. I just thought it would be funny & would add to the logo. Which it did."

A few minutes before they shot the logo Gordon found a skateboard on the set. He placed one foot on the skateboard & used the other to move the skateboard on the floor, thus creating the "sliding" effect.

Later, when asked about the walk, he jokingly said that was the way he always walked. But the Joke was taken seriously. People assumed that since Gordon looked different, his walk was different too.

Both Gordon and Joss found the "leg rumor" to be too hilarious to stop, and it was only after Gordon was featured in the July volume of "Medical Monthly" that they decided it went too far.

on July 20th the following statement was released to the public:

...Gordon Abrams' walk in the Mutant Enemy logo was created using visual effects. Gordon does not, nor has he ever, 'walked funny'.

Gordon says he has no regrets.

"Medical Monthly should have fact checked their article before publishing it. Any reputation damage caused to them was well deserved. It's what happens when one takes a rumor as a fact."
