I look forward to having an exciting and productive school year teaching World Cultures II and American History!  Together, we will explore many events, ideas and concepts about the world that surrounds us.

The primary goal in all my classes is to make you - my students - aware of how history effects us all.  How history is not just a collection of "stuff" that has no relevance to events today, but how an appreciation of history can actually explain a great deal about why things happen the way they do in our lives today!  Social Studies classes not only examine what occurred in the past, but  explains who we are, as a people, today and where we're heading into the future.

We will have fun in our journey exploring the world's historical mysteries!
