My Biography
My name is Gordon Shen. I was born on July 24th 1990. I was born in
Vancouver. I have a dad, a mom, a younger brother and a younger sister.
I enjoy playing computer games and watching TV. Computer games cure my
boredom; they are exciting and fun to play. Watching TV is really relaxing
and its fun to watch people or characters doing stuff. I lived in Vancouver
for around 6 years, from when I was born until I was 6 years old. I loved
going to the near-by playground with my brother and my mom on the weekends,
it was fun. Then I moved to Burnaby and barely went to the playground
anymore. New school meant I had to make new friends; the only person
I knew was my cousin. He was the one who helped me get used to things
in my new school. My cousin lived on the same block as me so we used
to go play in the playground. On the summer right before I turned grade
8, my cousin moved to Toronto. I missed him and stayed in contact with
him through the phone and msn. High school was a lot harder than middle
school; there was more homework, more rooms, 2 buildings, more teachers
and definitely more students. First day of grade 8 I knew no one but
the people I knew from middle school. I made new friends very quickly
and before I knew it I was grade 9. Time pasts by so quickly. Each year
seems shorter. I still go back to China town every so often to help my
mom carry groceries or to visit my grandma who lives in China town. Right
now I am in grade 11. Grade 11 is way harder than grade Soon I will graduate
and Burnaby North will only be a memory.

If you can be any hero who would you be?
If I can be any super hero I would be superman because he is pretty much
indestructible. He can fly, defect bullets, and pretty much lift almost
anything he wants. These powers will come in handy when banks are getting
robbed or something.
What came first the chicken or the egg?
I think the chicken came first because they evolved from dinosaurs. The
dinosaurs shrunk and became chickens XD.
What invention do they need to come up with?
They need to come up with the teleporter for easier transportation. Walking,
driving and taking the plane take too long sometimes.
The best thing about Christmas holidays?
No school and presents. Taking a break from school is alws nice and
the presents are even better (if they are good presents).
What are you afraid of?
I’m afraid of heights.
