TEXTURE PROBLEM HAS BEEN FIXED!!!!!!

This is my first Addon vehicle, it took me a hell of a long time, and it simply could not be done without all
the fantastic people in the ofp community. Id like to thank the following for directly contributing: Col Klink,
Brsseb, Ketgeys, Marcel, Snyper, many many thanks!

to install, extract the two .PBO files go229.pbo and go229g.pbo to you operationflashpoint/addons/ directory
This will give you the standard go229 and the version with invisible landing gear (fly this verson).

The version with the landing gear is for missions where the aircraft would be on the ground, IE: commando raids
sent to blow it up.

Historical accuracy is so so, I think that's for you to decide, there is way too little information availible.

disclaimer, if this ruins anything its not my fault, addon at your own risk!!

questions, Feedback, and problems email me at gordakofp@hotmail.com
Sometimes there is information on my webpage http://www.geocities.com/mord024/

now for the fluf!!

This fighter was in the final stages of testing when it's R/D facility was overun by allied troops in Febuary of
1945. The jet did actually fly and the last surviving prototype is currently stored at the silver hill facility
of the Smithsonian air and space museum in Washington, DC USA. Though they say they need more $$$$$ before they can
start restoration.

Armament consists of 4 mk 108 30mm cannon which could rip a 4 engine plane to peices in the blink of an eye.
Powered by twin Jumo 004 B-2 jet engines the aircraft could reach speeds of 977 kph at 26 thousand feet.
It easily outgunned, out manuvered, and out ran all allied aircraft.
The Germans also recognized that the shape of the aircraft might fool radar, and to further exploit this, a
primitive radar absorbent paint was created for this aircraft!! (note this was 60 years ago!)
The Go229 boasted other ultra-modern features such as a pressurized cockpit and ejection seat!
Had the war lasted only a few more months it would have been very likely that Gotha 229s would have engaged allied
aircraft in combat!
ENJOY!!!!
