The Gorbals Celtic Supporters Club was formed in the 1999/2000 season after years of non existence. It was the first time that people actually sat down and talked about bringing a Celtic Supporters Club to the Gobnascale area. We hold are club in Annies bar which is situated in the Strabane Old area of Gobnascale. The club is named mainly after the Gobnascale people as the people from this area are known as Gorbals by the rest of the town. The club was originally formed by Gary Fleming, Mouse Concannon and Kevin Mc Hugh.
The club is now made up of thirty members with 4 committee members consisting of :

Mouse Concannon
Gary Fleming
Mickey Lyttle
Gerry Duck

The club has grown in the last year and we have started to get ourselves recognised. We hold various functions during the year to raise funds for the club with each one always a success. The next function will be shortly with details of the band and venue posted here. In our first year in exsistence we travelled to numerous matches including the League Cup Final and the day they clinched the league against St. Mirren. We are also a member of the AICSC which has been a great advantage as we have travelled through them and attended various meetings which have been of great help.

The Picture Gallery at the moment currently holds pictures of the championship party and pictures of our members with Tommy Gemmill when he visited Annies last year. Hopefully during the forthcoming season we can show more pictures of our trips to Glasgow and various other parts of Europe if we are lucky enough to travel.
