I was born in Nis, Serbia, Yugoslavia, on 2 August, 1964. I received the B.Sc. in physics from the Faculty of Science, University of Nis in 1990, and obtained my M.Sc. and Ph.D. in electronics from Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Nis, Serbia, in 1994 and 1998, respectively. Since 1990, I have been with the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Nis, where I am currently an Associate Professor of Physics and Quantum and Statistical Physics. From 2001 to 2003, I was working at University of Toronto, Department of Medical Biophysics and Medical Imaging.

I has authored or co-authored more than 70 research papers, among which more than 40 published in refereed international journals. My research interests include the reliability of MOS transistor (the radiation and postradiation effects, as well as the electrical and postelectrical stress effects), the pMOS dosimeters, the electrical discharge and recombination processes in the afterglow periods in gases, as well as the digital X-ray imaging.
