In Serbia many factories were closed down either due to inefficient transformation from socialist towards capitalistic economy or because of damage made by NATO bombers, or just because some newborn "capitalists" wanted to diminish the value of factories and later to privatise them for small money....anyway.....unemployment rate in Serbia is rather too high...
