| 11/7/04 - Hey its update time: Trike is going into the studio in a week or 2 to record a split with the Car Crash Kids. Both bands are going to record about 4 songs each, all new material. It should be awesome And...spread the word- Trike is very available for shows! -Posted by Pat- 9/26/04 - Its been along time since we've had a good update.... Basically, weve got Carlo from Manic Sewing Circle playing drums for us for shows right now, but we are still searching for a more permanent drummer, hopefully a little closer (location wise) to us. Anyways,.. we may be adding another person to trike once we get down all our stuff with a drummer... to add a little more, weve already jammed on it and it sounds sweet. Also, weve been writing ALOT of new material, so hopefully everybody will enjoy it as much as us. -Posted by Pat- 7/29/04 - Weve got a couple big shows coming up. First we have one on the 31st with No Ca$h and Evil Empire. Its a fandango skapunk show... it should be fun. Also weve got a funass show on the 5th of september, its some giant ska/punk fest.. I dont remember all the bands playing but I know that Manic Sewing Circle got it for us, so thanks to them. Anyways, we are looking for a drummer still, but also deciding whether or not to add a guitarist to and kind of change the band around. We will see. -Posted by Pat- 7/19/04 - So, the end of Propaganda Panda is here. They played their last show a couple of days ago. This really fucking sucks, because these guys were our friends, and they hooked us up with a bunch of shows. -Posted by Brian- 6/29/04 - I moved the past shows to a new seperate link now. We NEED a drummer! If you're interested please email us. -Posted by Brian- 5/20/04 - Avast of updates! You'll be happy to know Trike has been getting busy in the studio! Trike started to record a demo/CD/E.P. as of the 15th, and it should be out soon. We're already almost done and ready to sell, because we made so much progress the first day we went in. Expect the show on the 12th to be a release show, it should be done by then. It'll probably be cheap for all you poor kids out there too, just a couple dollars. So everyone should come out to that show. We also are selling Trike t-shirts if you want one they are DIY which makes them more ...kick ass. -Posted by Brian- 3/16/04 - The show on the 12th went great. Everything else is in the past and we hope he can stay forever. We have a show goin down soon too, check it out. Recording is on its way but it wont be ready by the next show but soon. 12/30/03 - Oh yeah, the new years show isn't going to take place (we don't have a place or a drummer ready) BUT, we may have have at least a temporary drummer playing for us. 12/30/03 - Trike is going to now record all of our songs, and release it at a final show with Mikey! | 7/30/05 - Our album is going for its final spin before you can get this shit. It will be available through us directly (mail-in/paypal or something), online (Interpunk), and internationally through our buddies at Trash Compost. We will have some cool CD-release show, maybe with the EE clan too (who also have a CD coming out soon) and I hope to see you there.
-Posted by B-train- 5/705 - Trike is here to apoligize for the wait on the cd. We've all been very busy, so its hard to all get together to get back to the studio for our final day(s?) of mastering. We plan on going back in a week or two (preferably sooner than later), and then we have to send all our stuff to get produced. In the mean time, send us an email if you want our promo cd, and we can mail it out to you or arrange something. 2nd order of business, is shows. We have 2 shows coming up on the 20th. The first is in DG, and its hosted by some crazy local radio station that thinks putting Trike on the air is a good idea. Then we are going down (up? over?) to plainfield to play with our out of area buddies the coverups and in the headlines. I think b-train's other band, With Regards, is playing too. But of course its a free p-field house show... so check it out. We also have a TBA show on the 21st, in woodridge/dg. And finally, we have a near closing spot at "Jamnesty" on the 28th of May.. check out our myspace for more info on that show. Thanks -Posted by Pat- 1/23/05 - Well we got some exciting news... at least for us. We have started recording an album. We have 2 releases coming up... One is our full length (Album title tba), and we're also doing a Promo Split with Evil empire, which will have two unreleased songs on it. So look forward to those probably being released around spring time. Also we have shows on March 25th in Plainfield, and this all day fest sometime in April. Were also going to try to set up a show or 2 in February/early March to keep all those hardcore fans out there held down. They get a little out of control with the fan mail!
