RESOLUTION ON SEXUALLY ORIENTED BUSINESSES

WHEREAS, peep shows, pornographic bookstores, strip joints, homosexual bath houses, and other sexually oriented businesses have a tendency to denigrate society, decay surrounding neighborhoods, encourage crime, and spread communicable diseases; now therefore

BE IT RESOLVED that the Republican Party in the above-named precinct urges the Texas Legislature and the United States Congress to pass such laws as are appropriate to prohibit the operation of all such businesses.

The foregoing resolution was properly submitted in triplicate and was adopted by the Republican voters in the above-referenced precinct in convention on Tuesday, March 4, 2008.
