RESOLUTION ON ISRAEL

WHEREAS, the United States and Israel share a special long-standing relationship based on shared values, a mutual commitment to democracy, and a strategic alliance that benefits both nations; now therefore

BE IT RESOLVED that the Republican Party in the above-named precinct believes that our foreign policy in the Middle East should reflect the special nature of this relationship between the United States and Israel; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that we believe that Jerusalem is the Capital of the State of Israel and should remain an undivided city accessible to peoples of all faiths.

The foregoing resolution was properly submitted in triplicate and was adopted by the Republican voters in the above-referenced precinct in convention on Tuesday, March 4, 2008.
