RESOLUTION ON SOVEREIGNTY OF THE FAMILY

WHEREAS, the Family is a God-ordained institution and is the foundational unit of society; and

WHEREAS, the Family is primarily responsible for the welfare, education, and property of its members; and

WHEREAS, the Family is defined as those related by blood, marriage, or adoption; now therefore

BE IT RESOLVED by the Republican Party in the above-named precinct that all attempts to weaken or destroy the Family including no-fault divorce, desertion, pornography, homosexuality, adultery,and numerous forms of governmental interference and control over the Family must be opposed.

The foregoing resolution was properly submitted in triplicate and was adopted by the Republican voters in the above-referenced precinct on Tuesday, March 4, 2008.
