RESOLUTION ON SOVEREIGNTY OF THE CHURCH

BE IT RESOLVED that the Republican Party in the above-named precinct acknowledges that the Church is a God-ordained institution with a sphere of authority separate from that of civil government; thus, the Church is not to be regulated, controlled or taxed by any level of civil government.

The foregoing resolution was properly submitted in triplicate and was adopted by the Republican voters in the above-referenced precinct in convention on Tuesday, March 4, 2008.
