WORKING PARAMETER:
One surveyor spent 6 hours daily; and average 10 minutes just for one person. So, each surveyor covered 36 person in a day � while he worked just 26 days in each month � he covered 936 person in each month.
GOPEC: Before going to start work � we gave the name to its set-up �Gopec� { Global organization for population and environmental control } ; and we gave the name to its proposed program as �Grade-program ( Grass root awareness developing Program ).
Team - A
SIND, Karachi.
Karachi is the capital city of the province ( sind ). A very large port on the Arabian Sea with estimated population of 11,800,000, the team (A) consisted of on two groups � 3 person in each group/each person for each category. Team (A) covered total 24,000. Each group � 12,000; and each person � covered 4000 person. So it got approximately 4-months and one week.
Team � B
PUNJAB, Lahore.
Lahore is the capital city of the province ( Punjab) with estimated population of 6,040,000. So, the team ( B ) was consisted of only one group � 3 person in each group/each person for each category. Team (B) covered total 12,000. Each person covered 4000 person; and the same above mentioned period.
Team � C
BALUCHISTAN, Quetta.
Quetta is the capital city of the province of Baluchistan with estimated population of 875,961. So, the team ( C ) consisted of only one group � 3 person in each group/each person for each category. Team ( C ) covered total 4000. Each person covered 1335 person; and the same above mentioned period.
Team � D
NWFP, Peshawar.
Peshawar is the capital city of the province of NWFP with estimated population of 567,000. So, the team ( D ) consisted of only one group � just 1 person in this group/ just one person covered 666 from each category; and he covered total 2000 person just within 2 months and one week.
Start a trend in the masses to stop pollution & accentuate plantation.
� Keeping in mind what Gopec is planning to do in the Five Year Plan, we can draw some conclusion and make a rough sketch of what sort of outcomes and results we are expecting.
� After carrying out this plan for that long a period, we hope to create a degree of awareness among the general masses and make them feel responsible for their home planet.
� We believe that these plans when carried out as we have planned will bring about a change in the thinking of the people. For the time being we are expecting the educated group of people to become more responsive to this cause and respond in a positive manner.
� According to our estimations and the analysis of the situation we believe that people will start realizing the danger our planet is in. Planting trees will become common and anti-pollution campaigns will become more wide spread. People will start seeing what they are ignorant of right now and will take action. The deteriorating condition of the existing parks and greenbelts is expected to improve. New nurseries and plant shops will be started and a wide increase in purchase of plants is expected.
� Apart from the improvement in plantation concept in the public, a degree of pollution awareness is also expected. It is hoped that people will respond more actively where there is a problem of pollution control like busted silencers of vehicles, fumes coming out from factories, dirty beaches and unhygienic eating and living conditions.
� It is expected to see a better understanding of the problems related to pollution and how they can be controlled. We expect to bring about a change in the habits of people and make them throw their garbage in proper garbage bags and not on streets and roads. Make them realize that using plastic bags in harmful for them and make them replace it with paper bags. Make them value recycling and embed the concept in their minds. We are hopeful to see dumpsters in every corner of streets and expect them to be used properly.
� Over all we are hopeful to see a grand change in the behavior of people towards environmental issues and expect a positive and encouraging response from the masses.
Before going to analyze the gross route level importance of the program - we need to know the basic problems of under-developing countries like Pakistan.
