Coronation Day -
Somerset Road Church - 1953
This sent in, from Australia! Jarvis Road didn't exist then, the old church (now derelict at the back of the new one) was on Somerset Road. He says;
"This is a kids fancy dress party on Coronation Day at St Margaret's Church, Somerset Road, June 1953. I am Charlie Chaplin (Mike Reading), my sister Diane is in the back row, 3rd from the right. We lived at number 26 Somerset Road. Our neighbour Walter Nicholls is Ghandi, his sister Pauline is the indian squaw 2nd from the right in the back row. Can't remember any other names".
