(6) A suprising amount of people got this one wrong. You can use all the weapons listed except for the MACHINE GUN.
(7) Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000 will use the CONCORDE to draw customers to buy the game. Quite a few people picked the Mil-28N Havoc B. This is however a military helicopter and Microsoft Flight Simulator is a civilian flight sim.
(8) The upcoming game Black and White from Lionhead Studio will be a GOD GAME.
(9) The game Silent Hunter II will take place in WWII.
(10) In the game X-Wing Alliance, the final battle takes place DURING THE DESTRUCTION OF THE SECOND INCOMPLETE DEATH STAR. Most people picked that it was during a battle not seen in the movie.
(11) In the game Official Formula One Racing, you can assume a variety of driver identities. However Jeff Gordon is not included because he does not drive Formula One cars but is a top Nascar driver. Therefore the answer is FALSE.
(12)Resident Evil 2 allows the player to play either as Leon Kennedy or Claire Redfield. Depending on who you play as first there are FOUR possible game variations.
(13) Most people got this one right. The designer of the ever popular King's Quest series of games is ROBERTA WILLIAMS.
(14) The next two PC games using the Southpark license will be a MULTIPLAYER TRIVIA GAME and a RACING GAME. Lets just hope they are better than the first Southpark game!
(15) The unit that you cannot command in the game Dungeon Keeper II are THIEVES. Even though thieves are usually bad guys, in this game they are actually on the good side trying to steal your gold.
(16) Total Annihilation: Kingdoms allows the player to pick from FOUR races.
(17) I was surprised that so many people got this question wrong. Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor added 3DFX graphics to the series. Most people thought it was an editor to make quests, etc.
(18) The game Beatdown is a crappy and very violent game where you control hoodlums. All you do is see an enemy and send your guys in to take him out. Therefore the game is not suitable for all ages. The answer is FALSE.
(19) Microprose's Birth of the Federation can best be described as a MASTER OF ORION game. Take out the Star Trek names and it is like any other space empire type of game.
(20) Need for Speed: High Stakes lets drivers drive a variety of high performance cars. However the VOLKSWAGON BEETLE V3 is not included in the game. Most people were tricked by this. I knew they would pick it for sure so I added the V3 at the end. :)
(21) The company that bought Access software was MICROSOFT. Let's hope that they don't ruin this stellar golf series...ummm...Links LS Extreme (the first Links game with the Microsoft label) is not a vote of confidence!
(22) Field and Stream Trophy Buck allows the player to move around and hunt their quarry unlike earlier games that had you rooted to the spot. The answer is FALSE.
(23) The game that was recently denied shelf space by certain retailers such as Best Buy due to a controverial box cover depicting a Nazi helmet surrounded by bullets and a small pool of blood is MORTYR. I was surprised that most people got this one wrong. A lot of people picked Hidden and Dangerous or Commandoes (both games are based in WWII).
(24) The new Kiss game from Third Law Interactive (formerly known as Bloodshot Entertainment) has decided to use the LITHTECH engine for its upcoming 3D action game, KISS Psychocirus: The Nightmare Child. Most people thought it was the Quake 2 or Unreal engine.
(25)In the game Alpha Centauri, there are seven factions to choose from, each with its own distinct advantages and disadvantages. You cannot however choose the CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE COMPLEX as a faction. The others believe it or not can be chosen.
(26) Age of Empires: Age of Kings uses historically inspired missions in the game. "Age of Kings" should have been a good hint. HANNIBAL is the only person listed that is not from this age but from antiquity.
(27) This was a tough one. Victory is achieved in Carmaggeddon 2 by killing your opponents, finishing the race or by running over all the pedestrians on the map. The answer is ALL OF THE ABOVE. Most people thought it was only the first two.
