Ok. #1. The lame plot. First, I would like to say that this movie is like, a 'modern classic'. I think it deserves the Grammy award for best 'make-you-laugh-because-its-so-stupid-and-lame-and-gay-people-and-the-plot-is-so-unbelievablly-gay". First of all, If you haven't seen this movie (DON"T SEE IT!!) you are blessed. NO! I mean, I'll give you a brief overview of it. First, a girl and her best friend go horseback riding, at about 5 a.m. in the middle of winter. That was the first stupid thing. WHO WOULD WAKE UP EARLY JUST TO GO STUPID HORSEBACK RIDING IN SUB-FREEZING WEATHER??!!! Stupid freaks. THEN she (the main character, Grace.... What a stupid name) goes freaks out when her bestfriend's horse get's it's foot stuck in the ice or whatever. Then the bestfriend gets hit by a semi while trying to save herself and her horse. Then Grace tries to saver her and goes and gets her leg gravly injured, and her horse is acting like a psyco freak. The rest of the movie is when she gets 'better' and learns to ride a horse (the same one that almost got her killed, stupid freak) agian, but with one PROTHSTETIC LEG!! ooh... *shudders* I HATE THIS MOVIE!!!
#2 The lame characters. First of all, Grace was totally bogus. I hated her. She acts like such a freak. She even askes her mom to 'put her down' you know... like to kill her. Lame... THEN she gets to this farm in Montana (where she 'recovers') and acts like a total freak. She is like totally being cool by saying she won't do anything, till her mom gets kinda mad and then she's just like "I"LL RIDE HIM!!! I"LL RIDE HIM!!" and is even a worse freak. Another stupid character is her mom. She goes and 'falls in love' with this nasty cowboy dude at the ranch place where they are staying during the summer. SHE IS A MARRIED WOMAN!! AHH!!! And she is a total freak kuz she like won't put the poor horse down when its like suffering and dieing a miserable death (it doesn't actally die, but it should have). Another stupid freak is the cowboy that trains Grace and her horse to ride again. This is also the same guy her mom likes. He actally kisses her mom and stuff and he wears a real cowboy hat and acts like it's back in the 1800s where there are cattle roaming the open land and if you go around the mountain you'll get shot by an angry indian wearing a loincloth. GOSH i just wish he would die.
#3 THE LAME ACTING!! uhh.... ok. Grace just starts 'crying' in the middle of this scene and she doesn't look like, or sound like, she actally is crying at all. Then she just stares blankly ahead when she's supposed to be like amazed that her horse is doing good. The mom barly even seems like she is from a city because she rides a horse really good and she is just like "Sure! I'll ride".. gay....
#4. THE LAME SUB-PLOT!! AHHHHH!!!!! I HATE THIS SO MUCH!! Why the heck did the stupid mom fall in love with the stupid cowboy dude?? WHAT IS HER PROBLEM??? WHY DID THEY HAVE THAT IN THE MOVIE???? WHY EVEN HAVE IT?? SO THAT THE MOVIE HAS A 'PLOT'?? NOOO.... SO THAT THE MOM LOOKS SEXY OR SOMTHING??? ABSOLUTLY NOOO. no. Instead, They have it just because they do. There is no reason at all for it. THEN at the end of the movie Grace's dad like knows about it from some strange reason, and he like doesn't even care!!
Stupid freak.
Anyways, I rate this movie a 2 just because there was some violence in the begining of it.
