Due to the recent rant of CBM's, I feel it nessasary to explain my actions.
AFI seems to be the best band in this current time.
Not only do they TOTALLY ROCK, but they actually sing about things deeper than annoying girlfriends.
At first I was a bit leary of them becuase the first song I ever heard from them was 'untitled' from Sing the Sorrow. It was a disturbing expirience.  If I had not ventured forth, CBM and I would both have been wallowing in music hatred.
I also feel it nessasary to explain that Davey Havok (lead singer that CBM described as 'very scurvy') is not a scurve on my list. SS has looked past the 'scurviness' of him and found a very lovely man. (Please, before you leave this site muttering to yourself that SS has gone COMPLETELY insane, take time to read the next part.)  Besides that fact that his voice is completely WONDERFUL, he seems to scream quite nicely. Then again that might go with the fact that his voice is compeletly wonderful.  Alright, so his looks may not exactly fit the desciption of 'Mr.Wonderful' or 'norma', but he is still the lead singer in AFI and for that I am very fond of him. His voice pretty much is the sexiest thing since.... AFI itself.
If you have not heard AFI, please go to www.afireinside.net and see for yourself the loveliness of this band.
I actually had a dream concerning AFI last night, in which I was at a AFI concert with CBM.  In the dream I seemed to be much shorter than in reality becuase I could barely even see the stage, let alone anything but the man infront of me.  Strangly enough, the man infront of me turned into Mr.Unstalker!
What a sight it was!
I ran away and somhow was practically right against the stage and CBM had managed to stay with me.  Then, since I could finally see the stage, I saw that the whole band had turned into Superchick (aka- scurvy band I was VERY VERY VERY unfortunate to have been forced into seeing not even a year ago).  I screamed and then I looked back at CBM and she had turned into HCC!
Oh, what a terrible dream it was.
I woke up so unnerved that I had to go down stairs and grab my AFI cd, find my cd player and headphones and listen to the entire cd before finally returning to my slumber.
I have also had a dream where I went to a AFI concert ( it was VERY small, like 100 people at most!) and I was totally rocking out, jumping around and moshing when they asked if any of us had ever heard of them before and I pulled out my cds and waved them around wildly screaming, "I HAVE! YOU'RE MY FAVORITE BAND! I LOVE YOU! YOU ROCK!!!!!" and AFI asked me to do somthing but at that exact time my mom woke me up and I was very angry with her.
Yes, yes, I know. This is a rant on the wonder of the Band of Perfection, the great AFI, not some rant on the dreams of a lunatic. However, I will make it worthwhile.
Underneath my 'scrawlings' (hcc's word for writing) are links to letting you hear their songs on the Sing the Sorrow Cd.
Click the link to hear the song, but you can't be using Windows Media Player.
But hey, its worth it to hear AFI, right?

RIGHT?!?

WHAT THE HECK DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T LIKE THEM JUST BECAUSE WE, HERE AT GOONIE_LAND, LIKE THEM!?!?!

Fine. Be like that.

But be sure to hear the songs anyways.

In conclusion, AFI is simply too good to convey with words.  The pass beyond shadow or logic.  May the Goonies curse those who curse them, and bless those who bless them.  And may AFI live forever.
Here are the links. Yayness.
The ones with stars are the ones that most normal people will like, and the other ones you might not like if you aren't an obsessive retard or have good taste in music
Miseria Cantare (the beginning)
Bleed Black
The Leaving Song Pt.II (*?)
Silver and Cold*
Dancing through Sunday
Girl's Not Grey*
Death of Seasons (warning! Explicit Content or whatever)
The Great Dissapointment
Paper Airplanes (Makeshift Wings)*
This Celluloid Dream

...But Home is Nowhere- This song is like 3 songs in one. The first song is at the beginning (drr) the second song (Untitled) which is VERY odd (very NOT *ish) starts at 4 min 37 seconds and the Third song (This Time Imperfect) a very very *ish song! starts at 9 minutes 0 seconds.
2/13/05 (update) - Bought Sing the Sorrow today.
O. My. Word.
I have never heard a better Cd.
Ok... So I heard all the songs before, but still, having the actual cd makes it all 1000% better.
I couldn't believe it!
The first thing I noticed on the back of the little booklet thing in the cd was that there was a squirrel on the back of it! On a tree!
It rocked!
