There are many ways to prevent water pollution, and one of them is through us. Water polluion mainly gets polluted through people and their disposals. But if we all lend a helping hand, we can easily overcome and prevent water pollution.
There are many causes to water pollution. Car washing on the streets and allowing the detergent to run down the street drain, fixing your car on the street and letting oil or other substances flow into the street drain, letting leaves or garden clippings accumulate in gutters or driveways that end up in a drain, dropping litter where it will be swpt into the street drains next time it rains, cleaning plaint bushes and letting the remains of the paint mix in with the water and flow into the drain, and leaving dog droppings where it can flow into the drain next time it rains. One way to prevent water pollution is by watching our grass clippings, chemical, and fertilizers that drop into the storm drains. So basically watch your storm drain because many different things can go into it through environmental issues. Also different kind of detergents and soup from going down the sink. If you must throw something away, look for a garbage can instead of the ground or bodies of water. If there isn't a garbage can, hold on to it and wait until you see one.Though there are many ways, this can be a start to help prevent all sorts of diseases, deaths, and industrial problems.
