Before I came to KMLA, I went to Posung High School. There I had a friend named Kun-hyo Jee. In the beginning, Kun-hyo and I were good friends. However, I lost his friendship because of my mistake.
One day, probably having been annoyed by someone or something else, Kun-hyo started bothering me. I was annoyed due to his attitude, too. When I was annoyed, he started biting my shoulder weakly. I said, "Why are you biting my shoulder? Are you a dog?", not knowing my saying would make him very angry. On hearing my words, he got mad and seized me by the collar. He said, "I'm not a dog! How dare you say such a thing?". As a result, I lost one of my best friends.
I regret that I have lost his friendship. If I had not said these words, I might not have lost his respect, and may have enjoyed a better school life.
As a matter of fact, however, I cannot relive that day, so it is useless to think about the event in which I lost his friendship too much. On the other hand, I have learned that I should be careful when I speak, since one single sentence can be very powerful, for good or ill.
