The Official Website of Jerry Goodwin Racing Drivers

Jerry Goodwin:  Jerry Goodwin's fascination with roundtrack racing began when he was just sixteen years old.  He first began racing at Birmingham International Raceway in Birmingham, Alabama.  It was there that Jerry Goodwin raced along side racing legends such as Bobby Allison, Red Farmer, Donnie Allison, Neil Bonnett, and Davey Allison.  Finally, 9 years later he slid into the driver's seat of his own race car.  His love for racing and great sponsorships over the years built his reputation as an outstanding competitive driver and sportsman. Well into his racing career, Goodwin has over 600 victories and many track championships under his belt, which speaks to his consistency and self-composure behind the wheel. He is the owner and a team driver for the Jerry Goodwin Racing team and has no plans for retirement in the immediate future.  You will find him at Talladega Short Track in Talladega, Alabama every Saturday night during the season.  Currently, Jerry owns 2 late model dirt cars and has 2 drivers as seen below.

Chris Mullinax:  Chris Mullinax began his racing career in 1981 at oval race tracks in Birmingham and Sayre, Alabama. Mullinax has many feature victories and awards including Limited Sportsman Championship at Birmingham in 1986, Rookie of the Year for the Southern All Stars circuit in 1997 as well as the track championship at Birmingham International Raceway in 1997. Mullinax got his start with a Rime Companies sponsor and has become an experienced competitive driver in the late model short track arena.  Mullinax became a member of the Jerry Goodwin Racing team in 1994 and currently drives with Jerry Goodwin at Talladega Short Track on Saturday nights in the familiar red late model #M57. Photos coming soon.

Jimmy Hiett:  Info to come soon.

The future of JGR, Maddux Mullinax:  The son of Chris Mullinax and grandson of Jerry Goodwin, Maddux Mullinax- just over 3 years old, shows sure signs of a future race car driver.  Maddux, currently driving a battery-powered mini Jeff Gordon Dupont Chevrolet replica, drives in circles in the driveway of his home.  In his off season, Maddux sits behind the wheel of a 4 wheel drive battery-powered Jeep, dodging trees in his front yard and around his Granddaddy's racing shop.
