| Most of the kites that these pages link to will be made of either Crepe Back Satin or Raw Silk.The face side of the Satin glimmers in the sun light. I can get some fine detail work done on this material so I take a lot more time to lay out the design and dye the kite | The Raw Silk is an inexpensive durable material much the same texture as flannel. I don't take as much time to lay out the designs for these kites and the colors tend to run into each other. They fly just as well as the all the other kites. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
