lets see, last night derek, eric and i went to the last free concert downtown. there were these two really crappy bands called sponge and zug island. it was...blah. calvin and the gang decided to not show up so it was just us chilling out for a while until sara and her group of friends came...we didn't talk to them. the only people we talked to were megan and missy and a couple of their friends as well as kendall and jen. haha kendall and jen were the highlight of my night :) kendall is one of the girls we met at meijers (if you look at my pictures page, shes the only red head girl in a pic). jen was kendalls cousin. they are some wicked cool chicks. jen even taught me how to count to 7! i couldn't get to 8...it got too hard. yeahhh so thats pretty much all that happened.

anywho, after that we went to an indoor skatepark to look at shoes/boards but i guess they had their power out and so we waited for like an hour while they hooked up a generator even when they had that hooked up they wouldn't let anyone into the store cause their computers weren't working. it was messed up.
so yeah after that derek and i came back to my house and skateboarded. eric came over and i tried to teach him how to skate at aberdeen park but then we got distracted by these other neato little skateboarding kids and yeah we just came back here and watched a movie called biloxi blues. it was pretty good (it had matthew broderick in it so OF COURSE it was pretty good). sooo yeah that was my night.

after the concert everyone except megan (she went with her own group of friends) and mike and kevin (we think their car got towed lol) went back to the parking lot. at the parking lot, we had even more fun. hahahaha, lets see, ben and pike drag raced (bens mini van vs. pikes VW golf- pike won), uhm...i held on to the back of ben's van and skateboarded...until he floored it and i fell haha (its okay kids, i didn't get hurt...too bad lol) uhhh what else did we do....oh yeah i gave a bunch of money to ben and calvin and they went to a liquor store to buy 12 paks of pop and then when they came back someone had accidentally bounced a basketball and it hit a car and the car alarm went off and so we all booked out of there in random peoples cars and met up at scotts house. lol at scotts house i saw his mom and was like hott damn she IS a MILF!! and then yeahhhhh we came home. so yup. the the the the thats all folks!

soooo yeah derek and i worked for about 3 hours...it was boring but it wasn't all that bad. all we did was weeded some flowerbeds at this old ladies house er mansion er i mean CASTLE. we better have gotten paid more...last time she was stingy and we worked really hard.
after that we went and got slurpees, i came home, cleaned up, ate din din, and then picked up ric and rek and went bowling. it was pretty fun. we just goofed off as usual. when we finished bowling we went to the traditional krispy kreme hang out spot. lol, on the way there pike drove has VW golf like 45mph through a parking lot, turned sharp for NO reason, and peeled out on two wheels. it was funny as all hell! i swear that kid will kill someone...great times, great times. now i have some more stuff to do on my site so i will write again later.

*sigh* anyway we eventually found a parking spot which was like a 15 min walk from where the concert was. it was WAY the hell away from everything. anyway...enough of the parking ordeal! its done and over with! so we get to the concert...its realllly hot and boring. so when switchfoot came on stage we decided to go out of the croud and sit somewhere. as we went out of the croud we happened upon our friends pike, calvin, and ben. while we were hanging out talking this kid rob (i was friends with freshman year but he moved away and went to a diff school) came up and was talking to us/smoking a cigar haha. then another girl from school named stephanie came over. haha, no i'm not done yet. after SHE came over my friend CHILL (aka rach) came over with some...soon to be sophomore and another girl i didn't know. yeah so it was just a huge group of us chillin' out. haha. we played with zippos and made a spit pile..good times.
while all that was happening the concert ended and so we decided to meet up at some coffee shop in east town and we chilled there with even more people from school. we stayed there for like 15 min or so and ended up going back to pikes house and we just sat there and heard stories about germany from calvin. man o man i wish i lived in germany haha. sooo yeah i dropped ric off and brought derek back to my house where he had left his car (because of my crazy mom). anywho it really was a fun night, even though it may not have sounded like it. now go away so i can eat my sandwich..i'm starvin'...

ok that wasn't the highlight of the night, it was when eric decided to call his girl (jess) from connecticut on the cell phone. all hell broke loose. i tried to stab derek with an envelope opener...he threw coasters at me...we screamed at jess while eric was talking to her on the phone...oh, and i cut out the mouth to some ladys face on the cover of Biography magazine. lol, it looks hilarious. my tongue, her face. I HAVE THE POWER! haha so yeah derek got a pic of that and i'll put it on my site soon enough. anywho i'm kinda winding down right now. soooo yeah...bye

haha, yes #5 is probably my favorite- although...#2 was very funny. after the girls in the parking lot incident derek and i got lost in another parking lot trying to go to krispy kreme. yeah...thats just sad...sad but fun haha. anywho, we chilled at krispy kreme, took helium balloons, and i started to drive home. i'm sure you can guess what ric and rek used the helium balloons for. goodness sakes i had to check if there was a chipmunks tape plugged in. FUNNY AS HELL! julie really missed out on that one... anywho, i came home 15 min late for my curfew and had mom flippin' out. la la la, i don't care. did i mention how good it was to hang out with julie again? (too bad twice a year is good enough for her) :-p

yes yes, then today i cut three lawns and swet my fricken bum off cause it was soooo humid out. not fun at all. then tonight rek and ric just decided to show up at my house and we went and saw the movie S.W.A.T. ok if Pirates of the Caribean was a 10...i'd say this was at least a 9.5- it was WICKED good! other than that, not much has been goin' on...i'm kinda realizing that summer is almost over, and there are lots and lots of people i love and miss from school...but i still don't want it to start. ho hum...live up the summer while i got it...

ok, 11:30pm tonight. me. driving my sisters car to bring movies back. cop. pulled over. no lights on. warning. do you need an explanation? i'm assuming you do.
soooo i drive my sisters car to bring back movies tonight, and i saw the cop on a side street so i look at the dashboard and its not lit up so i can't see my speed. i'm thinking "oh crap" as the guy pulled out and followed me, meanwhile i'm fumbling around trying to figure out how the freaking lights get turned on. i stoped at knapp and diamond (for you local Grand Rapids ppl) and turned left onto knapp. he's still following me. i almost got to fuller street, when he pulled me over. you should realize i've been driving slow cause i was still tyring to find the fricken lights (and being stupid as i am, i didn't want to pull over to find them, i just kept driving this whole time) yeah sooo yeah where am i? oh yes he pulled me over. people that were driving past just stared. i want to like disapear i was so freaked out. i shakilly handed him liscence/insurance/registration all that shabang, and he checked my liscence which took like 5 minutes. i explained to him the whole situation and he was nice about it and let me go with a warning. i'm still shaking mind you. it was my first time getting freaking pulled over!!! ahhhh! it wasn't too shibby, so i suggest you avoid having this happen. i need to go find some frazzlin' chill pills or something...oh there they are...

one good thing happened in the afternoon and thats when i freaked out (being the pansy i am) when i stumbled upon a big fat snake. derek of course loved it and spent 15 minutes trying to catch it. lol. if you ever try to catch a snake...don't grab it in the middle and try to pick it up. you'll get bit. as derek did. i guess he says it didn't hurt, but oh well. we got the snake. derek named it "diablo" because hes so freaking evil.
yet another bad thing happened after that. we were going to leave but dereks car wouldn't start. we didn't have a cell phone and the lady who's house we were working at was gone. sooooooo we rememberd gawking at the neigbor who drove his porsch into his driveway not long before and we went and knocked on his door and he came and jumped the car and he was really nice and stuff annnnd yeah so now its running fine i guess. annnnywho i'm just rambling on and on and seeing as i missed the free concert series tonight (cause dereks tooo tiiiireeed *rolls eyes*) i should just go to bed. today i spent 3 hours doing random yard work for an elderly lady down the street, and then derek and i rented mall rats (dirty, but fricken hilarious) and grand theft auto 3. fun fun. thats about all...sorry but my life's boring kids.

soooo lets see, sunday we got there, settled in the room, and were asigned to our work crews which consisted pretty much staring at eachtother and it was really awkward...(and according to cortney i was being an ass hole haha- but then i got nice...she promises).
then monday morning we woke up early to get like some stupid pep talk from our "mc" paul. paul was ok...kinda fruity most of the time, but a good guy to talk to. anywho, we went to our worksite and there was even more awkwardness because we didn't really know our resident....but yeah we hung in there and by the end of the day we got along wicked good.
pretty much every work day was the same, work, slack, work, slack, yada yada, untill wednesday, when we only had a half a day and the group i came with (beckwith hills CRC) went to a mall in Bangor and bought dirt sacks (the really good kind of hackey sacks)- and that led to a more interesting story. sooo...it was derek, eric and i sitting outside the mall waiting for the others so we could leave, and we were playing ping (a hackey sack game we learned). derek and ben go after at the same time and it gets WACKED way the heck into the air and onto a really high like...ledge thing? it was the sign for the store and it had a big ledge that went into the building like 10 feet and then had a giant glass window...if you can picture that. anyway, this is a brand new, and very good hackey sack so we don't want to give it up, so derek pushes a trashcan right under the ledge, and stands on it, but his hands are still like 2 feet from reaching it. eric gave him a boost and derek amazingling managed to pull himself onto this ledge which has to be at least...15 feet from the ground. if you think this is funny...it gets better. it seems that there was some sort of store meeting with a bunch of...share holders or real important people like that because there have been dressed up people with briefcases coming and going the whole time. that is why i wasnt suprised when one such person walked out of the store right as derek was dangling on the edge trying to get down. he chewed us out for a while and our group came out and susan (our leader) was pissed but she didn't say anything. i think that guy was about to go get security but we ran away real fast like. haha...silly derek. (by the way, yes he got the sack!)
that was probably one of the funnier things that happened besides me getting clotheslined in a drama in front of all the 400 some people at the work camp friday night. oh and i can't forget erics new girlfriend who lives in connecticut. ("whatcha thinking about eric?" ..."jessica."). meh, sooo after 10 hours of driving yesterday, staying in a nice hotel last night, and then ten more hours of driving today i'm finally home and relaxing. it was for sure a wicked fun week. (i promise!)

i picked up eric and went over to dereks house where we then got into his car and went to the mall. i bought a hemp necklace and a juliana theory patch. quite uneventful. now its raining and i like the sound...weeeeeeeeee.....

eventually it got nice again, and we went down to the beach and swam (in lake michigan). while swimming there, we happened upon two girls who we had met earlier. they were pretty good looking...at least one was for sure..but anywho, yeah we were in the lake swimming and they came out to us, and we talked for a little bit, until randomly, the better looking one glanced at me and said something along the lines of "these two.." (eric and derek) "..are pretty good, but he.." as she looks in my direction "isn't." ........ouch? yeah, ouch. you'd think i would be used to it by now eh? i would think so too, but hey, sometimes words cut deep. yeah yeah, of course i replied by calling her a b***h, there were certain hand motions quite often...but yeah, there was no way for me getting back at her. some may wonder, where my two best friends were during this whole thing? oohhhhhh of course they're just standing there not saying a word. derek continued flirting with "sam" as her name was, and eric eventually apologized for not standing up for me...which then he was on my "side" and he helped me chew her out. that gained him the title "retard" from her...haha *sarcasm* thats HORRIBLE! anywho, later i vented at derek and it was all good- especially good when the girls finally left *rolls eyes*
after this whole incident we kinda chilled out and whatnot cause it started raining again, but soon enough it stopped just as it had before. as the night went we decided to play cards while the sunset, and then we played "cheap drugs" and i finally learned that if you spin around really fast and try to run straight....it really IS hard..seeing as i fell over twice in a row. haha, that was mad fun. then we went late night swimming and it was REALLY dark but it was sooo much fun.
in the morning we had cereal...chilled out, played tennis for a long time, went to "youth group" which sucked because it was 6th-12th grade and we were by far the oldest and it was just wayyyyyy too cheesy. after that we played more tennis, had lunch, went swimming in the pool, went swimming in the lake, played volleyball, went swimming in the lake, and then chilled out some more. after the "barbarian" meal (where they lay out a table cloth thing and put salad and spaggetti all over it and have the little kids eat with their hands/faces) we just sat around, and eventually the girls from before came upon us and we talked quite decently with them for a while..yeah it wasn't that bad as they were being somewhat nice, but they still couldn't look me in the eye. yada yada blah blah blah yappidy yap, as you can tell i'm getting sick of typing so i'm gonna end it here.

we decided we needed more fireworks...for no reason, so we took two cars and drove to a tent and bought like $2 worth...crazy but hey- we wanted to get out. then we went to 711 and bought slurpees and searched around the floor in my car for the missing volume dial that CHRISTINA dropped (i did not and have NEVER slapped her hand...)
meh, so we got back to andies house after driving insanely mwa ha ha ha.. and then decided to go up into her room and open up some bottles of sparkling wine my mom gave me. whoa baby was that a fun time. i had one bottle all to myself whereas the other 5 people had to share the other. i could swear that crap was spiked or something because soon enough we were laughing our arses off at the stupidest stuff..what with lighting a fountain thing and doing "indian" dances around it or singing five iron frenzy funny songs or giving eachother indian names or what, we were friggen insane. indian name recap: derek= chief wear no pants, eric= chief blue light special, me= chief dear caught in head lights, christina= squa smokes too much peace pipe, and we ran out of insane energy to think up one for andie...soon enough though, soon enough.

later on last night me and andie went to a Thursday concert (thursday being the name of the lead band). It was ok...the first band sucked (i prefer lyrics that i can understand- not screaming), the second band kicked ass! they were called "murder by death" and they had an electric cello and whatnot...it was fresh. the band thursday was good but i haven't really listend to them before so i wasn't completely into...just into it.
this morning i went golfing with my dad and a couple of his friends. i did okay. then after golfing i came home and had lunch. my mom then decided to go to the beach so i called derek and he drove his celeb. over and went with us. we had fun.
my plan for tonight is to go to andies house where they are having their annual "shindig" with illegal fireworks and whotnot. fun fun, i will write more either tonight or tomorrow. in the words of my good friend eric- out.

eventually i got a hold of derek and he came over and played video games for a while tonight. we got really sick of just sitting around so we went outside and made up our own game with a wooden softball bat and basketball...�que divertido! (for you non spanish speaking peeps: "what fun!").
anywho, being as ADD as we are..we got sick of that real fast and decided to go buy "fireworks" as they fasley call them in michigan...see in michigan, the fireworks SUCK because of some stupid rules about exploding/moving fireworks being illegal..yada yada, i get mine from the indiana border. after the fireworks place we went to get a slurpy but decided the baskin robins (31 flavors!!!!) had more yummyness to sell. with icecream cones in hand we walked over to 711 to get a lighter for the fireworks where they asked derek for his ID and we found out..for like the tenbillionth time that you have to be 18 to buy them. BULL...ONY SANDWICH! annywho that was about all that really happened tonight besides throwing those popping things out the car window going 45 down a 25 street... sooo yeah i'll write tomorrow night as well.

then i worked some more on the site, until my mother decided to go to best buy. woohoo! i also took money out of the bank so i treated myself to the All American Rejects cd which i have been wanting for quite some time. quite odd though..that as i was walking through the store about 3 girls working there came up to me and told me how wonderful it was...and i had started to wonder if i was mistakingly buying a Backstreet boys cd (which would be quite a tragedy) or something..apparently i wasn't, so its all good.
yada yada lots of boring stuff occured while i just sat on me bum all afternoon until i finally got the car and took eric up to quite the video store to rent a video game. after about two hours of quite senseless explosions and fast cars my mom told me i had to bring him home so that is what i did. then...that brings me to here and now..fun eh? anywho, i have lots of important and quite top secret stuff to be working on so i will have to end this entry here.

in more interesting news, i woke up at 11 am this morning due to my mothers obsessiveness with cleaning our house, and have been sitting on the computer for the most of the day. the only time i got out of the house was to drive to meijers where i dropped off film and bought a fishbowl for my goldfish jorge. sounds fun and interesting eh? my hectic life is the envy of oh so many people.
tonight i have a softball game so i don't know exactly how much more work i'm going to get done, but we'll see. i'm actually going to try to do some right now, so until next time...
