They married in 1973 and divorced in 1981. Her first husband was Gary Campbell (1965 - 1970, also divorced). Neil's play Chapter 2 was based on his life with Marsha. She appeared in the screen version of the role but did not appear in the stage version.

She is currently running her own herbal medicine business called Resting In The River. Business is in both sales and manufacturing of medicines, which are made from her own herb garden in New Mexico.
