Skyline: A crescent moon rises.

Plot: In Manchester, Niles has finally found Mr Moon, and says he's marrying Daphne. Mr Moon has no problem with that, but throws Niles out when he says he's also here to reunite him with his wife. Nevertheless Niles persists, and eventually persuades Mr Moon to give it another go - for Daphne's sake.

Back in Seattle, Mr Moon is a bit reluctant to give it a try, so Niles asks Martin to pretend to be involved to get Mr Moon jealous. Later at the Montana, Niles and Mr Moon are there when Daphne and Mrs Moon return from Hawaii. Daphne is thrilled to see her father, but Mrs Moon isn't and runs off in tears. Mr Moon says he tried and he's leaving, but Niles persuades him to stay one more day.

Niles asks Frasier to book a table for 4 at Chez Henri, and that night, he, Daphne and her parents go to dinner. Mr and Mrs Moon start reminiscing, and Niles is thrilled at the progress. He goes out to the car to get some champagne, only to return to find Mr and Mrs Moon being restrained by Daphne and a waiter. Mrs Moon says she never wants to see him again and Daphne takes her home.

That night, Mr Moon stops by to say goodbye to Daphne. Daphne asks if there's any chance of them getting back together, and her dad says no. They hadn't loved each other for years and had only stayed together for the sake of Daphne and her brothers. Daphne wonders if this will happen to her and Niles once they've married, but Mr Moon tells her how he threw Niles out of the pub 6 times, only for Niles to come back in and try again 6 times - to try and make Daphne's wishes come true. Daphne is touched, and stops by the Montana to see Niles. She wants to get married - right now.....

Meanwhile Roz fills out one of Cafe Nervosa's "Customer Comment Cards" regarding her and Frasier's little encounter.

Subtitles: 1.57pm Manchester Time.

Trivia: Another Niles and Daphne cliff-hanger. They walk out of the Montana after Daphne tells Niles she wants to marry him right now - and then the credits fall. The end credits are a "Thanks For Calling" (a list with pictures of this season's callers). We haven't had one of these since Season 6, as Season 7 only had 2 callers and Season 8 had 6 callers - not enough! :-) There's a slight indirect reference to Ep 165 "Something Borrowed, Someone Blue" as Mr Moon stole a Space Needle Snow Dome before Daphne's (almost) wedding. He sees Martin is his security guard uniform and thinks Martin is the police! Then later he thinks Martin is blind because he has a cane, a dog and apparently loves Mrs Moon! There's a mention of Roger - he's taking his stuff out of Roz's apartment and she doesn't want to see him. Oh, and we finally get to see the interior (and owner) of Chez Henri, the restaurant referred to many times in the series.
