That night Frasier and Niles decide to watch The Antiques Roadshow. Martin comes in and says he wants to watch a gameshow - which turns out to be The Antiques Roadshow. The Cranes begin to bond again and after the show Martin decides to see if he has anything to put on the show, as it is coming to Seattle that week. He finds a clock, and on the show it is revealed that the clock is of Russian origin, from the Romanov palace. Frasier and Niles think they're descended from the Romanovs and decide to investigate their family tree.
They call in Dr Myshkin, who has news about their family, and he agrees to come over that evening. Martin comes in and says he's been inundated by offers for his clock. The boys offer to sell it for a higher value, and Martin agrees.
That night Dr Myshkin arrives, and thanks the Cranes on behalf of the Russian people. It turns out their great great grandmother was a whore, who stole the clock and emigrated to the States. And to make matters worse, due to there being no sale as the clock belongs to Russia, the brothers each have to chip in $15,000 as Martin has just gone and bought himself a Winnebago.
Meanwhile Donny has asked Daphne to wear his mum's wedding gown, and it comprises of a miniskirt and not much else. Oops, wrong box.....
