Cut Scenes |
|
- In the first scene when Martin tells everyone about his reunion at Rattlesnake Ridge he also says, "Remember I took you boys camping there when you where small?" to which Frasier replies "Who could forget the birth of a lifelong reptile phobia?" This is just replaced with a "good for you" from Frasier in the final show.
- A lot of lines where cut when Frasier finds out what's going on and says "What?" Daphne tells Clive "He's not hard of hearing. He just doesn't listen. It must run in the family. My husband's the same way." to which Niles replies "What?" Later when Martin says "What?" Daphne tells Clive "You see? This listening problem all comes from their dad."
- At the very beginning of Act Two the following lines were cut between Niles, Daphne and Clive. It was replaced in the show with the newlywed's dialogue.
- Clive
: I'm certainly happy for both of you. I see you don't wear wedding rings.
Daphne: We don't need rings, because we always have our arms around each other. Don't we dear?
Niles: I know its sickeningly sweet but it works for us.
- After Frasier tells everyone that "Maris" has a previous engagement. Clive says "sorry to hear that" to which Roz replies "Me too. I thought I was available, but apparently I'm not". She also calls Martin "Dad".
- A few lines were cut between Roz and Frasier when Frasier asks "Who's for coffee?" and Roz replies "More importantly, who's for dessert?" Frasier calls her "Gumdrop" then she says "Just asking"
- In the script Clive enters on the scene of the arguing a lot earlier than in the show.
- The following very lovely little scene was cut from the very end of this episode. In a similar set up to the tag scene Frasier, Niles and Daphne are eating cookies on the couch.
- Niles: I've got another one. He would have wanted you to move. Daphne: I would've moved.
Frasier: Daphne, I'm sure if you just bide your time a while he'll give you a second chance.
Daphne: This was my second chance.
Niles: You'll get another. I believe that if two people are meant to be together sooner or later they will be. Years may pass, years filled with frustration and missed connections. But the day will come when they just fall into each others arms and jet off to a beautiful Caribbean island, though France is nice too.
Daphne: I'm not sure I believe you, but thank you Dr Crane.
Niles: You're welcome..... Mrs Crane.
Daphne: (laughs then yawns) I guess it's bedtime. 'Night.
Frasier: Goodnight
(Daphne goes to her room and Niles starts to follow)
Frasier: Niles. You're annulled.
(Niles sits glumly eating a cookie.)
