- After Frasier says the taxi is there to take him to the airport, Roz says that she hated family trips. Her dad always dragged her around a "gazillion museums." Frasier mentions that the only museum Martin ever took him to had the word "wax" on the door.
- After Niles shows Daphne the picture of Maris with Pearson Broadwater, he wondered how she could be ready to date so soon, and then adds that Pearson once wore his cap backwards to look "with it."
- In the show Martin says that because Maris has had lots of dates she isn't serious about them. In the script he says that Niles should get out more, saying he's been "holed up like a fugitive".
- After Niles lists off his girlfriends, Martin accuses him of exaggerating, and Niles admits he is but that he's never been God's gift to women.
- In the show Niles just says "I can't [dance]." In the book he starts off by saying "Just because we're going to a dance doesn't mean...oh dear!" Martin adds that Niles should be prepared for it.
- The scene where Niles stands on Daphne's foot was not in the script.
- A small scene between Niles and a waitress at Cafe Nervosa was cut.
- When Daphne returns with the coffees she mentions Grammie Moon for a few moments.
- After Martin pretends that Frasier isn't home, Frasier went to the front door, opened it, came back in and yelled "Hi everyone I'm home!".

- When Marlene says "Look who's here without calling first, Nana and Pop Pop!" in the show, in the script she said "Oh Timmy, look who's here, Nana and Pop Pop!"
- In the show Frasier told her "grab your husband, take him to the sturdiest kitchen table you have" whereas in the script he says "lead your husband to a sturdy kitchen table."
- After saying "I hate it when that weird foot freak subs for you," Roz added in the script "He's always trying to feel my arches."
- In the show Roz says "You're taking Frederick to Williamsburg? Eww!" after Frasier offers to buy her a T-shirt from Williamsburg. In the show she says "How would you like me to give your home phone number to a bunch of people with webbed toes?"
- When Martin is going through the breeds of dogs to see how smart Eddie is, he says "dachshund" in the script but "beagle" in the show. He also says "He's putting one over on me and that takes real intelligence!" in the script, whereas in the show he just says "Nice going Eddie!"
- After the elevator doors close on Eddie, Daphne says "Now he's thinking 'Wait, we passed a fruit stand on Oak Street'." In the show she says "Now he's thinking 'Which one's the emergency button?'"
- After Niles tells Martin about his date, Martin said "Hey, no kidding?", in the show he said "Good for you!"
- Niles moves Martin's chair in the script and Martin says he'll get it out of the way. In the book Martin says "OK, now push it back."
- Where Niles says "Good night - bend and turn" etc (in rythmn to the dance) in the show, in the script he says "Night, two, three, hello, two, three" when he says goodnight to Martin and answers his phone.
- In the show Niles says "I guess I won't be needing those dance lessons" and Martin replies "I guess not." In the show it is the other way around, except Martin says "I guess you..."
- After his story about the coroner, Martin says in the script "After that the morgue was a pretty chilly place." In the show he says "It was no fun going to the morgue after that!"
- Frasier's line "I have just spent the most wonderful 6 days with Frederick!" was not in the script.
- A nice line from Niles was cut - "I thought 'd found the most perfect English rose...until now."
- Another cut line from Andrew Lloyd at the ball - he corrects his wife by saying that Maris "took Barclay to Billy and Binky's birthday bash."
- Daphne said "Rich people, you'd think they'd be a lot smarter. What a bunch of gits." after her speech about how good an actor Niles was.
