Since Morris was picked as the All-American City Finalist in 2004, it would be cool to show that through our website. With our college-campus community, we will be getting students coming and leaving. Many of them not knowing the interesting facts and attractions of this awesome unique town in the prairie. Having a innovated website can clearly show and explain this via internet with just a click of the button. The internet has become a big resource on getting quick information and will continue to be in this 21st high technological century.

MORRIS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
-put tourist/attractions with photos: Scandia Church (first church building in Stevens County-located northwest of town), Water Tower, West Central Gardens
-links of annual events with past photos: Prairie Pioneer Days, Horticulture Night, Lights Parade, etc
-3D visual viewing of Atlantic Avenue (taken from the center point, like 7th & Main Street)

CITY OF MORRIS

-a small video of Mayor Wilcox welcoming homepage guests
-change logo of city's website (suggested by a Hancock resident)

Overall Suggestions:
-have a Morris Chamber Cash sponsored photo contest for the best pictures of these proposed photos to be put on the web
-re search other city websites
-who is our big audience: elderly (use big fonts), college students (use high-tech graphic features), kids (use animated cartoons)

Over the 9+ years (UMM 99 Alumn) living in Morris, Ive made many personal websites of this town, especially after taking part of the 15-delegate All American City Team to Atlanta in 2004. Feel free to check this website and many others that we dont know off (e.g. via search engines):

These are just some of a few that Ive made, but these are the major ones. The above links has many links going out everywhere that relate to my on-going 10+ years residing-living in Morris.
