Person on Cement
I never saw a man I could hate more, that man's eyes did judge me and deep inside my thoughts I left him bleeding on the ground dealing cuts out for the punishment he had delivered to my brow
I glared down on the assemblage of the broken spirit men they sat gabbling of the weather and with wavers of their chin  did beg with silent lips from their watery grey eyes for some simple relief from the life they had provided for themselves in this hasty world of leisure where every man's wallet is his guide
I played a game of chess with someone who truly saw the game and he perhaps knew I didn't play quite the same as him yet when it was decided that I was winning he conceded with great grace my common style offset the grand game of kings he set
the whole crew  stumbled round me for a bit of what I could spare but I only look different from these men who were standing there I felt the space between us contract into a line which I was leaning over and they stood right beside.
seen walking from the door to meet suit and tie derision I gave that man a mental slap when he sneered up from my finger that I pointed up to heaven in the direction I would send him but with my lips pressed firm together he had no clue what I meant,
To him the same as all of them just a person on cement.

Ocean tribute
My lovely lady has gone away,
She dances with a mate of mine
he gives me winks behind her back
he knows that she is truly fine
When i ship out from this here port
I'll leave her behind forever
sail out  to sea  to fight the whales
I'll weep for that ruddy whore never
Wit, Wisdom, Whimsy
Lust lessens lads. Leading lessons, leery lords leave lonely lovers lost. Lovely ladies live light lives lending limp lisping Leopolds leotards.
