| Need a Job or a higher paying job? www.geocities.com/Goodjobs1 Finding a good job in America has not been easy. I offer my fellow citizens the information here to better achieve a higher Standard of Living� The holidays have allowed me time to access data for many counties in Missouri and other states. I was in shock and awe of the wage disparities around the country. The http://censtats.census.gov web site gives employment and wage information for the North American Industrial Classification System. The data I have discovered not only shows how much Audrain County and Missouri is way behind in incomes. My study of the 3034 American counties is not yet complete, but the data available seems to be indicative of wages around the country. I will be updating this information. Check back and the best of luck on finding a better job and a better Standard of Living. In 2002 Audrain County Business Patterns Manufacturing reported 24 percent of the people were earning about 31 percent of the Annual reported income in Audrain County. In 2003, 21.5 percent was reported and only about 26 percent of the local income. 199 jobs were reported lost in the Manufacturing Business Patterns with a loss of about 6,380,000 dollars. Health care amounts for about 23.5 percent of wages and lost 97 jobs for the 2002 to 2003 period. Retail trade amounts for about 13 percent of the earnings and about 19 percent of the workers. Utility workers were very highly paid in Audrain County at about $30.01/hr or $62,427 annually. The top so far is $40.24/hr or $83,703 annually in Harris County Texas. County wages seem to be radically different in different parts of the country. Audrain county wages in Manufacturing sector averaged about $13.71/hr or $28,507 annually. Missouri averages for Manufacturing wages are $17.59/hr or $36,582 annually. That is nearly 128 percent more if you are willing to relocate. United States average show $19.60/hr average wage or $40,763 annually. A large jump of about 143 percent from the $13.71/hr in Audrain County, but there is much much more. Missouri Lincoln County reports $20.69 that is about 150 percent higher than Audrain County. Clay County Missouri reported $27.34/hr or $56,863 annually, while Seminole County Florida reports the top of $27.85/hr or $58,140 annually. Other fields of work seem to have similar wage patterns. Now folks don�t go off the deep end and quit your day job just yet. I suggest citizens do a systematic job search and put out some resumes to see if there are jobs available for someone with your skill sets. Do a cost study to determine where your money will go at your new location, housing, local taxes, car Insurance cost are a few of the factors. You may want to rent for a while until you are settled in, to make sure you have a good job market for your skills. Wherever you move, try to maximize your options if you want to move on. Always try to maximize the number of employers that would want to hire someone with your job skills. Best to move up or move on; do not get stuck in the job system. Stay away from low number of employers in small towns. The bottom line should show your wealth increasing over the years. Check with the local county to check for increasing property evaluations and tax levies. Added benefits are, moving expenses to your new job are tax deductible, see tax advisor for qualifications, and making more money you are earning more Social Security benefits.
