Winning the Battle:
On the path to truly being happy
I own www.networkingtree.com and I will turn it into a login system for my personal network.

I own www.domgee.com. This website may make the move over there soon.

The last news update reflects the pensiveness I feel about my current job. I have had a lot of conversations with people and the answer always is: What do I want? If I know it, pursue it. I think I finally do know. I want to be an editor. I whole-heartedly want to be an editor. I want to cut every kind of show out there.
I need then, to take the class this weekend and become Apple Certified for Final Cut. With or without the company I will get Certified.
I will reorganize my website to reflect this change of mind.
I don't want to be 45 and still working on sets feeling like I have no other useful job skills. I want the mental and the creative that comes with being an editor. I want to be the assistant that flies a film to Paris. I don't know what a union AC makes, but think it is worse than what a Union editor makes. There will always be editors. AC's are going away with the advent of computers and HD. There is also not the kind of performance anxiety being an editor. If I screw up, I can fix it. If I pull focus wrong, that's it. No going back.

Also, oddly, I have been going with the flow. A to B to now and here. I am no longer worried about my future. I figured out what would happen if I lost this job tomorrow.  I also figured out what will happen if I stay for a year or more. I like both outcomes.

I will pay for California car insurance soon. I will get my Califorina everything on Thursday.

P.S. Happy Birthday to Caryn, swearing she is old, but still really young!

Happy Birthday to John, you have so many women that love you! May you will find one that makes you happy.
