On May 15, 2001 - Members of the East Coast Punks (previously known as the Good Charlotte Insomniacs) e-mailed the radio station Wber 90.5fm in Rochester, NY requesting 'Festival Song' on the Friday Morning Show (FMS). The DJ's Joey Guisto, Dr. Popice and Sgt. Pepper read our e-mails on air then started to insult Good Charlotte and all their fans. They played 'Let Me Go' and 'Waldorf Worldwide' then made mean comments about the songs. That same day we asked them to say Happy Birthday to Billy, which they did but it followed by them mocking him. This was followed by banning their cd and any e-mails/phone calls requesting them/about them. One of us decided to call them and they mocked GC and us even more. This made us very angry so we e-mailed them telling them we did not appreciate what they were saying. In the weeks to follow they continued making rude and mean comments about GC and the fans. We've continued to e-mail them since then. We called them again 2 weeks later and they were saying GC would trade the fans for beer and money and hung up on us. We gave up e-mailing them after a while but they still continue to make comments. We had people vote for GC to be in the top 30 countdown and they said whoever voted for GC they will not count their votes. We know GC had at least 30 votes for the countdown. Recently we gave GC a tape of everything the DJs have said about them and the fans up till the show. So GC are well aware of what's going on.
The Good Charlotte fans must unite and help stop such evil!
