Greg Rusedski and Tim Henman
Greg and Tim are Britains best hopes for major titles and have been for a while.If only they have the menatl belief that they can win the big games when it counts.
Rusedski`s left hand serve can be lightning fast and his `serve and volley` technique is used to good effect,but he cant find the consistency in both skills.Either he serves great and his volleys fail or the other way round.Maybe one day.
Henman has the `all round game`,he really should be winning more matches.Great serve,volleying and an awesome backhand.This guy is probably our best hope,but is time running out?.Wimbledon remains his best chance of that first major title.But maybe mentally he cant handle the pressure of the crowd..the expectancy every year...time will tell,lets hope we dont wait too long.
Jelena Dokic and Martina Hingis
Apart from Anna Kournikova,these two girls are my favourites to watch.Great professionals and oh,yes they are both cute too!
Jelena is half Croatian and Australian.I admire her because the pressure she has been under following the crazy antics of her father,she has done brilliantly.She has established herself as one of the top players in the game and in such a short time too.She is focussed and a nice girl with an intelligent head on her shoulders.I predict more titles to come for Jelena.
Martina.`the Swiss Miss`,is the top most consistent player in the game,she has slipped down the rankings a couple of times but as i write this she is No.1 again.Never far away from the last stages of tournaments,her dedication and commitment and stylish play have to be admired.Also making it big at an early age,she has grown up in the public eye but stays level-headed and is very likeable to players and media alike..
