The music artists i have collected most stuff on and are the ones i always look out for new releases since their introduction onto the music scene.Prince(one of the most underated musicians and songwriters ever,and awesome live showman.),Madonna(through all the so called `critics` bitterness,she is still the most thought provoking and influential music icon.),Bon Jovi(great musicians,still a great rock band,and still pulling in stadium thousands.)
Female Singer/Songwriters-
I do prefer female vocalists,as my record collection shows.These 3 singer/songwriters are the best around.Tori Amos,Sophie B.Hawkins and Sarah McLachlan.All unique in style but with the same brash,hard hitting no nonsense lyrics,maybe the guys should take note,the girls are taking over.
Favourite Bands-
Actual musician bands,real instruments,and real songs.Texas(Scots band fronted by Sharleen Spiteri,quality soft rock/pop songs and great live act.),Blondie(led by the every boys dream girl in the late 70`s/early 80`s,Debbie Harry,unforgettable tunes,back after long,long spell away last year.),The Corrs(Irish folk/pop/rock family foursome,Jim,Andrea,Sharon and Caroline,i take pride in loving this band before they got famous from only one tv performance,superb musicans.)
