A Static Lullaby is like Alexisonfire's vocals mixed with Mest, and the instrumental talent of Bad Religion. Their first show was on August 18th 2001, two weeks after their first practice. The band, made up of Joe Brown-Vocals, Nate Lindeman, Dan Arnold-Guitars, Brett Dinovo-Drums and Phil Pirrone on bass, is from Chino Hills, California, a town where it's only claim to fame is the massive Chino State Penitentiary nearby. The band was signed to Ferret Records after offers from major and Independent labels in 2002, a year after they formed. They self released their first album Withered before signing, and then released their debut, Don't Forget to Breath.
