So many artists are starting side projects......Box Car Racer, The Transplants. Those actually contain some of the same members. Hazen Street is following in their lead. The members include Box Car Racer's David Kennedy (guitar), Madball's Hoya (Bass), Mackie Jackson of Cro-Mags, Bad Brains and Shelter (drums), Toby Morse of H2O and Freddy Cricien of Madball (vocals). Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory was a member, but his record label forced him to back out due to legal issues. His guitar is still no the album, but he is not credited for it. The band was signed to DC Flags Records late last year, and their debut record came out April 28th of this year. The bands name comes from an area called Hazen Street at New York Ryker's Prison, where Freddie Cricien spent some time. Check out some of their music at www.hazenst.com or www.dcflagrecords.com . Pick up a copy of their record if ya like it......
I bought the Hazen Street Album, and it absolutley rocks, I recomend it to everyone!!!! Check out Track 3, that's my favorite.
