Blink 182 formed around 1993 in San Diego California. The original members Tom Delonge, Mark Hoppus, and Scott Raynor self released their debut album Flyswatter and their second album Buddha in 1994. The band signed to Grilled Cheese/Cargo and released Cheshire Cat in 1995. A lawsuit forced them to change their name to Blink 182, because an Irish band shared the same name, and had the rights to it.

After the name change, Blink hopped on the 1996 and 1997 Warped Tour and toured with Nofx and Pennywise. Dude Ranch was released in 1997, and the band started gaining major label attention. They signed with MCA later that year and released Enema of the State in the summer of 1999.

Around this time, Scott left the band to pursue other things, and Travis formerly of the Aquabats took over. The Mark, Tom, and Travis Show was released as a limited edition, the CD was recorded live and featured the new Man Overboard, as well as songs from all the albums. Take off your Pants and Jacket was released in 2001, and featured songs such as The Rock Show, and First Date.

Blink's latest release, the self titled "Grown up" album, has songs such as Feeling This, and I Miss You. Robert Smith of the Cure lended his voice to the track All of This. This is an awesome album, that everyone should pick up!!! Check out the newest video Always, it is definatly one of my favorite videos of all time.
