Thy Lord would not destroy for their

wrong-doings men’s habitations

while their occupants were unwarned.

- - - Sura 6:131, the Quran

This passage has just verified----or revealed in advance, to be more precise----a prayer of

mine in the recent three years to God and the Lord Jesus about the continuing of this world:

“Lord, please protect, help and bless this world, and make it keep on living.  For the children

nowadays are as pure and true in heart as those children in your mundane days two thousand

years ago, and the love of today’s parents for their children is as profound and perennial as

that of the parents in the mundane years of you Lord Christ Jesus; for these two causes at least,

my Lord, please protect, help and bless this world, and make it keep on living.”

The righteous shall live by faith.

 - - - Romans 1:17, the Bible

In the end humankind will be able to survive only by faith, and won’t fall into extinction with

the gigantic power of science and technology.

“Be able to survive only by faith”:

Have faith that God loves humankind, and that so long as people keep on spreading love

(especially if they love children), treasure and do goodness and righteousness, be peaceful among

themselves and be willing to help one another, God will keep on loving the human species, and

won’t let them be destroyed.

[ A note added in February, 1986: ]

The love of the parents for the children is not perfect without the love of them as children for

their parents.  Besides, without letting the children perceive how we love our parents, we are

bereaving them of an intimate knowledge and example for them to know and to believe that they,

too, should love their own parents----so that each of them is possible to become a whole person with

perennial peace and happiness in his soul.

Remember how the Lord Christ has instructed us:

For God said, “Honor your father and your mother.  …”
