If you are familiar with the CREW and there history then you know that they formed in 1999, peaked in 2000 and split up at the end of 2001. What were the members of the most famous facion in e-fed history doing before they joined the CREW though? Here we go back to before Autum 1999 to see where they were and had been.

Before Davie was known as the ICON, beore Eddie was known as the Game and before Hogan said 'Always Stay True to the CREW' these wrestler had other feds that they would call home. Superstars such as Hollywood Hogan, Big Poppa and Jeff Jarrett were known to millions before there time in the CREW due to there time in the WWF and WCW. Other stars such as Joe Green, Metyl, Davie, X-Factor and Eddie didnt work for either of the big 2 back in the 90's. So half of the CREW were established stars before they joined and the others were after they joined.
The most famous wrestler Hulk Hogan is known by everyone the world over. Before he joined the CREW Hogan wrestled for the WWF winning 5 world titles along the way. His most famous win has to be in 1987 when he defeated the late great Andre the Giant at Wrestlemania III. He moved to WCW in 1994 and won the World title from the Nature Boy Ric Flair. Seeing that his 12 year baby face gimmick was fading fast Hogan turned heel at Bash of the Beech 1996 and joined Nash and Hall in the New World Order. Hogan's career faded again in early 1999 and he turned face to no avail so he left WCW and joined the BCWF. This is where he met Davie J and Eddie D. The BCWF was no great fed but it had a very strong and competitive roster. Hogan decided to start his own stable called NWO Hollywood and it wasn't long before Davie J and Eddie D joined, this would be the start of things to come from the trio.

Hogan won two world titles during his time in the BCWF. However there was a big falling out in the BCWF between Hogan/Eddie/Davie. Hogan lost the world title to the Rock. Hogan was in a 4 corners match for the world title also with Eddie D and Steve Austin. Eddie as Hogan thought would help him win the world title, but when Eddie covered the Rock for the 123 Hogan was not a happy man. Then the Good Guys were in a handicap match against Scott Norton, Davie turned on Eddie and Norton covered Eddie to win the tag titles and named Davie as his new tag partner.
Hogan eventually won the world title from Eddie D and from that point onwards Hogan always let Eddie know that if he wanted in with NWO/CREW then he had to remain behind Hogan in the packing order. Hogan was still the BCWF champion when the fed closed down and he entered the EIWF shortly after Eddie and Davie.
Davie J learned his trade originally in backyard wrestling with L double E before joining the BCWF. Davie though was a very different wrestler back before the EIWF. There was not as much cockyness, more of a will to prove himself. Davie started out as a tag team wrestler with Eddie D. Davie J who was seen as the better athlete remained undefeated in the BCWF and topped the wrestler rankings. As Eddie become the better wrestler Davie was left in the shadows, until we saw a glimps of things to come.
Davie was suddenly the man in the spotlight when he showed just how ruthless he could be as he crossed and humiliated Eddie in a match for the tag titles. Although it was Hogan who was the clear leader of the NWO it was Davie who started the CREW. Many have found it hard to tell just who does pull the strings when it comes to the CREW. There seems to be a mutal slight power struggle between Hogan and Davie but it has never boiled over. Davie used the BCWF to gain a lot of experience and see what he is capable of doing himself. Davie who use to be a face is known more of a heel today and a very hated one at that. Davie was the first person to be signed by Prez Rod for the EIWF.

Eddie D, the Game. The man who passed all expectations and was then brought crashing down by the enemies he never knew he had......his friends around him! Eddie was in a tag team with Davie in the BCWF and had no previous wrestling experience. The team known as the 'Good Guys' was very successful, but Eddie went a step further and became successful on his own.
As mentioned above Eddie won the world title. Eddie won the biggest prize he could, the world title. While Eddie was accomplishing a dream little did he know that those around him were plotting to bring his downfall. Eddie was victimised, outcasted and treated badly for achieving a lifetimes ambition. What was stranger is that Eddie took it all on the chin, accepted and stood next to those who had screwed him. Why Eddie to this day still alligns himself with Davie and Hogan no one knows.
