December 16th 2001: Our second gig... We played at a birthday party for our number one fan Mark... at his parents house between Havana and Quincy, Florida... We set up in the garage and started out with a cover of "Disco Inferno"... This show was lots of fun... Esther Lee got up and sang a couple of songs with the band, and Mark got up and played "Sweet Home Alabama", and "Miserlou" with us... The highlight of this show was when Lewis asked the crowd if the music was too loud... A man sitting in the front row said "No, it sounds real good..." Lewis replied, "We don't want the neighbors to call the law on us..." The man in the front row said,"Hell son, the law is already here... In fact you guys can turn it up as loud as you want..." We found out later that there were 2 illustrious potentates from the local law enforcement community at the show... They invited us back for New Years, but didn't want to pay us anything... Oh well...

George decided to leave the band... Lewis got his job back... but quit it a couple of weeks later to work for the government...
