UNTOLD STORY, THE
PLOT-Police are on the trail of a murderer who grinds up his victims and makes them into delicious "Pork Buns" for the customers of his restaurant (this is actually based on a true story. No shit).
WHY YOU SHOULD WATCH IT-This movie is interesting on many levels, but I think the most fascinating part is that it actually happened in Hong Kong (where the movie was made). Anthony Wong, who plays the killer, is one of the hardest-working actors in HK cinema. In fact, he won the Chinese Oscar for this very performance. It's a very disturbing movie, as he kills women and even little kids without mercy. Plus, nothing is spared the viewer's eyes. There's a lot of blood and gore shown. I won't lie, this one will test your stomach.
MEMORABLE SCENES-Without giving too much away, let's just say that the killer uses chopsticks to murder one woman. If you can guess where he shoves them, you're just as sick as this guy is. However, if you can guess how many chopsticks he uses, you may want to turn yourself into the cops.
NOTES-It'd be a good idea to take the warnings on the cover seriously. Even though I have sat through some nasty stuff, I was still taken by surprise many times watching this one.
