PLOT-In this lesbonic parody of the hit television reality show "Survivor", two tribes of ordinary people on a deserted island compete for the grand prize of $20.
VIOLENCE-None. Fun for the whole family.
SEX/NUDITY-Just like in EROTIC WITCH PROJECT (made by the same people), there are many scenes with naked women making out and stuff, as well as running around in the woods minus clothes. All but one of the female contestants is shown butt naked at some point in the movie.
WHY I LIKED IT-John Bacchus is definitely the new king of erotic parody, picking up the reins from folks like Fred Olen Ray from the 80's. His humor is infectious and his actors are so brave and uninhibited. His movies are so cool, everybody that watches them loves them. They are perfect to show at sleepover parties and stuff. Darian Caine, from EROTIC WITCH and MISTRESS FRANKENSTEIN, is again the star of the show. She's awesome. Plus, the filmmakers went to a lot of trouble to make sure that this movie looked & felt like the real SURVIVOR tv show. The editing is great and the cast really does a good job. If this was a real show I would never miss an episode.
DOWNSIDE-Debbie Rochon, a scream queen in her own right, keeps her clothes on in this one. She's a great actor and plays her character well, but fans of hers will probably be disappointed that she's the only girl in the movie that doesn't get naked. But anyone who saw her in TERROR FIRMER probably still got their fill.
MEMORABLE SCENES-While searching for food, two of the contestants find a "tapioka tree" in the woods. They break it open and, sure enough, out comes the pudding. They smear it all over each other and make out in the dirt.
DVD NOTES-Like Bacchus' other films, this one contains a "making of" feature that's pretty good although not very long. For fans of Darain Caine, there's a good interview bit with her that lasts about 10 or 15 minutes, separate from the "making of" thing.
