Something Corporate
One of my favorite bands, I've been listening to Something Corporate since Derek saw them on a late show performing "If U C Jordan". He told me to download it(thank you internet) and the rest was history. Since then their album Leaving Through the Window has been constantly playing in my CD player.

Warped was winding down and the sun kept getting hotter when "SoCo" took the stage. Not only did they live up to the hype but they surpassed it. I had heard that they were an awesome live act and now I could find out for myself. The set was great even without playing their softer songs (like Konstantine). And Andrew confessed to being "the biggest pu$$ies on the tour". Overall, even though it was a short 30sum minutes SoCo Rocked the D!!!

- Wed Febuary 5, 2003 @ St. Andrew's Hall, Detroit, Mi
I was lucky to go to this show. Mike had told me it was on a Tuesday and I couldn't get a hold of him at all. So I thought I had missed the show. Then on Wednesday he gets a hold of me to tell me how he had the wrong day and what not. So to the D we went! We show up at what we thought was on time. We ended up standing outside in the cold because the doors that were suppose to be opened, weren't. We finally go in and we could feel our limbs again. Sat through two decent bands (Fiction Plan & Vendetta Red) and the third to take the stage was Something Corporate. The set was incredible. They played all of their best songs(in my opinion) including Konstantine, Hurricane, Your Gone, etc. ... They said they were happy they were able to play thier softer stuff. I guess when they're on tour with more hardcore bands it's hard to play their softer tunes. Andrew set the piano as we all sang "F*%# you Jordan ..." and he nearly lit his hair on fire. It was great.

- Sat August 9, 2003 @ Riverbend Music Center, Cincinatti, OH
After spending all of my money on merch we went to find our seats. Now this place was set up a lot like DTE except without the hill. And the tix we got from the band were 6 rows back! Of course that wasn't close enough so since there was barely any people there chilled in the front row during their set. They came out and kicked off the show with Fall. Mics were a lil off at first but once the got into it all the kinks were worked out. Next came "I Woke Up In a Car" followed by "Little" and "Cavanaugh Park". By the time they played "Space" ( a new song off their upcoming album "North") and Punk Rock Princess they had all of the 311 fans on their feet. They finished off the amazing half hour set with one of my personal favorites "Hurricane". The set rocked and the band did their usual routine. After they got off stage they headed out to the crowd to talk and sign autographs. Laura and Laura were acting like boy banders when they had their picture taken with William. I was still in shock that all of this happened. And Ann Arbor Laura was getting still frames of SoCo's member's butts. We talked to all 5. Andrew about the trip and how he almost forgot to put us on the list. William was just freaked out that the girls wanted to $%^& him. Josh about their upcoming tour with GC and how he thinks "they deserve to be where they are". Clutch about the aviators and why he wasn't wearing them. Finally Brian came out and when we told him we were at Meadow Brook he told us about his wild goose chase with a girl who stole his G. Love hat. All the guys had scattered but Andrew was still finishing up with some fans so we went and said bye to him. He was really concearned with us driving so far. He gave Sling a hug and told her to be careful and thanked me for coming even though we missed the show in  the D. Something Corporate ladies and gentlemen; a band for the fans.
