New Found Glory
As soon as I heard that first riff to "Hit or Miss" I knew I'd like whatever these guys put out. And so far it's true ... After their 4th album I'm still listening to them. And musically these guys have matured so much and you can tell on "Sticks and Stones". NFG opened up for Blink a few summers ago and that's when I first saw them. That's how it happens, you go to a show and get what you expect from the headliner but sometimes the opening band impresses you a lot. I little of NFG at that first show but after I found out a lot more.

I only knew a few songs but it was more than what the girls next to us knew. What set it off is when they played Peter Cetera's(formerly of Chicago) "Glory of Love". It Blew me away ... That weekend I ran out and bought NFG's "from the movie screen to your radio", which is a good cover album. NFG would become one of my favorite bands and acts to see live.

Sure it was the same show as the night before but NFG still rocked. It was definatly worth seeing them 2x in 2 nights.

This was a post-warped tour put on by Drive Thru Records where NFG headlined. It was the day after Halloween and they were festive. They brought out masks and Ian of course entertained. We found about this concert late so we didn't have the best of seats but of course it was worth it. I had brought a handheld recorder and recorded half the set. It sounded horrible but atleast you can tell what song is which. NFG being NFG knows how to put on a show and ROCKED.

It was towards the end of the day and I was exhusted. NFG followed GC so it was one great set after another. I was up front for the first few songs but heat exhuastion and dehydration forced me to drop back and watch from a distance. Wasn't the same being up front but was still a great set. NFG never dissappoints.

- Sat April 12, 2003 @ Cobo Arena, Detroit, Mi
NFG co-headlined the Honda Civic Tour with GC. I'm just happy NFG was the closer on this tour. After a less than impressive set by GC, NFG came out and ROCKED the house. They followed each new song by one off of their first CD's. Jordan even mocked 50 cent when Chad played the "In the Club" riff using the guitar. There was a lot of energy and love for NFG down in the D. They are one of my favorite bands and now favortive live acts ... NFG will be around a long time this i can feel and they'll still be rocking.
